Middle Georgian... 3 weeks in.

I'm 30 and been smoking for the last 15 years, 30+ cigarettes a day. I've really had no trouble making the switch. I had 6 cigarettes left in my pack when I received my 901. Smoked them over the period of a few days, each time not getting much over half way through. One thing I've noticed, apart from gasoline, I have no reason to go to convenience stores any more.

After browsing countless threads of several forums, I picked up a couple of 901 atty's, a USB PT I've fixed up to run on rechargeable AAs and a bottle of Dekang "Camal". I got this from heaven gifts as I've ordered several things from different vendors in China over the past few years and am used to waiting. EMS shipping only took 8 days though.

I took advantage of the sale DatsVaper had a couple weeks back on the 5 pack of 3ml samples for $6. Really enjoyed the Mt. Dew and Cinny Hots, the beer reminded me of play dough... not good. The camel by Dekang is ok too, but the free bottle of caramel house brand from HG tasted more like peanut brittle and was a real dark liquid, flavor stayed in the atty a while.

Anyhow, I definitely can see this being cheaper than smoking if I could just quit spending money on hardware. I joined up so I could see some of the pics in the mod section. I'm using a USB PT now with 4xAA's vaping at 5.2v on hot batts, kinda like a portable hookah.

Welcome, Durtman! Glad it's going so well for you!
Might want to check out the vender listings while you're here too. There are several really good juice suppliers out there. Never liked the china juice myself and quickly found a good juice makes all the difference.

Thanks TWolf. I was a bit hesitant to vape the Chinese juice as I don't exactly trust it being "safe." Quality control isn't a strong suit of a lot of those factories. I've probably smoked worse.

I should add, all my future juice purchases will be from trusted local US suppliers. I'm not saying the Chinese juice is bad nor implying it is unsafe, in fact I like the Dekang Camel, it has become one of my go to juices.
