Hmm. I wasn't expecting this, but is Midnight Apple a coil clogger? I've got a Triton tank full of it that I've been vaping and topping off for only a few days, and the draw is now REALLY tight. It's not a big deal, as I'm a good Halon and have a bunch of extra coil heads, but I'm just wondering if this is something to expect for the long haul. (This is the first full-sized bottle of MA I've bought.)

Obligatory P.S. this stuff is delicious, either way.

Edit: Then again, I may just be perceiving the draw as "tight" because I'm used to the really strong cool throat hit of SubZero. So perhaps NOT feeling that makes my brain think the draw is tight. Wait, do I sound crazy? Is this real life?

I find when wicks get clogged the draw can become a little tighter, but more that the draw is airy, with less vaper production
I think when it's airy you subconsciously draw harder to try and get a more satisfying vape

I have a dedicated tank for MA and if I let it sit for a day or two without vaping it, when I first fire it it'll make a rather loud POP sound before producing anything!?!? Weird

I vaped so much MA when I first started vaping I had a hard time vaping it again for a couple of months. Think I over did it. LOLOl. Just loaded up a tank tonight (been a couple of months since I've done MA) and I've reloaded the tank again already.

LOVE this stuff and it always tastes better to me after a small break from it to appreciate how good it really is.

I know that feeling. I'm vaping Tribeca right now, and looking at my Halo order confirmation Emails, the last time I bought some was July of last year. I guess my menthol-only streak is over because this stuff is great! (And Midnight Apple too.)

I think the oddest thing about this particular flavor is that it has virtually no throat hit. I'm using 6mg nic I get pretty much nothing.

It is kind of a faint TH now that you mention that but i do get some at 12 mg and I know my old 18 mg did more. But 12 mg in MA compared to like 12 mg w/Torque, yes its more faint.

MA ... the flavor that got me to quit.
the flavor that i have tried to hunt down elsewheres and/or imitate but could not find.
the flavor that gives me vape tongue right around 2 weeks or so, so i have to go find another vape for a few days.

only drawback, many non-vaperers may find this vape stinky ... a few have mentioned "ammonia" like smell.

yes, this does tend to wear down a coil right around the 5th day mark.
(triton coils).

until i can find the swisher sweets juice stand alone, still my only go-to-vape (others are at best good for like 1 mL then i gotta change).

I got lucky with my new apartment. The roommate I talk to the most is an ex-smoker (who has never vaped before), and any time I'm vaping in his vicinity he'll run into the vapor to smell it, and attempt to "vape" some of it. He says he likes it, including Midnight Apple. He even asked to try one of my mods one time (some horny banana stuff in an RDA on a SID). He liked it, but has been an ex-smoker for so long that I don't think he'll start vaping... which is 50% a bummer and 50% commendable. ;)

Anywho, this wasn't really on topic. MidnightAppleMidnightAppleMidnightApple.

I too fell in love with it and it helped greatly when quitting analogs. And like you said, right around 2 weeks in I started getting vapers tongue and had to put this potent flavor down for a while. I still enjoy it, but only for a quick session. It makes my taste buds go haywire if I try to vape it all day (like any juice ATM). The aroma sometimes smells delicious and other times really weird...but if you're in an enclosed area, you're definitley gonna smell something, be aware. I agree, this is the best true apple flavor Ive tried.

You MUST give Halo's Freedom Juice a try. It TOTALLY reminds me of a good ole Swisher Sweet. Tribeca was my first vape love and still resides at the top of my ADV list. Just got an order with the last 5 Halo flavors that I'd not yet tried and Freedom Juice was one of them. It has immediatley taken over second place (I doubt anything will ever surpass my beloved Tribeca). Freedom is very close (for me) to a Swisher Sweet and well worth a try!!

I'm strictly a menthol/mint vaper, but Midnight Apple tempted me, and I got a 7ml with my recent order. Loaded up a cart last night and just tried it this morning. Wow this stuff is good!! Sweet, but not too sweet. Not too strong on the tobacco side, which is what I was worried about.

I was an ex-smoker for over 3 years when I took up vaping. I quit cold turkey. Some people just don't understand why I would start vaping, but I don't feel bad about it at all. I don't equate vaping with smoking at all, at least when speaking of health effects. The only thing I'm getting thats similar is the nicotine, which in my opinion is not the component of a cigarette that makes them unhealthy. As an ex-smoker, I did not miss the smoke, stink, or horrible way that it made me feel, but I sorely missed the ritual of puffing and feeling the intake and exhale. This is why vaping is perfect for me, I get all the parts of smoking that I enjoyed, without the nasty side effects. People ask how far I've gotten my nic level down, or when I plan to quit, and I tell them I have no intention of doing either. Vaping was not a stepping stone for quitting cigs for me, it was a safe replacement for something I gave up years ago.

And to get back on topic, Midnight Apple is awesome!

Midnight Apple is all my hubby vapes. Honestly, I would like to find him something else. He climbs towers and is in his 50s. The high pg gives him a bit of trouble and that is the reason for the hunt. I love the aroma of MA and altho I prefer Voodoo, MA was one of mine before I got him into vaping. Received 4 30 ml bottles if MA yesterday :) Will think about a small Freedom juice the next order though. Bothers me that he only has one juice and I have a bazillion :)

Amy... I understand. I have gone from 18 to 6 nic in less than 6 months and have always thought that mine was more of a hand habit than a nic addiction and I still think that is the case. Planning on going to 3 or 0 nic as soon as I deplete some of the juices I have now. The drop to 0 is a bit scary though and my just get some 0 for dripping and see how that goes and then start loading it in my tanks.

I am the same way.
I quit smoking about 3 years ago when my son was born. I didnt want him knowing me by the stench on my clothes/breath. Quit cold turkey. Not even having any when I was out drinking.

But then my wife and I would watch movies and drink some, and she would only smoke when she drank, and she made the comment of "I wish you never quit smoking so i could have a cigarette"
So rather than pick up a pack of cigarettes, I decided to give the disposables a shot for use when drinking. But the motions of the holding, inhaling, exhaling was the habit I missed. And the nicotine when I got really stressed.
So I broke down and got the halo. But like you said, i dont think its the same thing as smoking.

The prior disposables and junky starters I had all said they were 24mg, so my first few from Halo was 24mg. but I have been stepping it down some. Right now I am ordering all at 12mg and finishing up my 18s. Maybe I will drop, but doesnt bother me one way or another.

But yes, out of all the flavors I tried, Midnight Apple is #1 on my list, followed by Prime, Freedom, and Southern
