Well, I had one of my last orders show up in my mailbox with the end tore wide open, Thankfully everything was still in it. Flat rate boxes come in different sizes. Personally I would think about adding some extra tape along the edges of the envelope to help reinforce it. A little extra time and some tape are cheaper than having to resend an expensive order at your own cost would be a better deal for ya. But hey, That's my 1 cents worth.
Might be time to start using boxes for shipping.

I dunno, those damn bags take a bit of force to tear, not sure tape would do it.
I had a problem with a trash guy once, he wouldn't take an old couch, said it was to heavy, I was offering to help, but it wasn't enough, he was one of the dumpster and nothing else types. I promptly grabbed a chainsaw, cut it up and fit the pieces in the dumpster, making him wait the whole time, then made him dump it in the truck. "See, it can fit in the damn dumpster!" I got a new trash guy the next week and he's been nothing but nice!

I hadn't even read this thread... but it happened to me this morning. That envelope sure looked like it'd been cut to me - straight across the top. And empty. That's 4 blingbats...

My father's mail lady admitted to reading his magazines.
She would keep them over the weekend and deliver them on Monday.
My mail lady was moved to another route b/c she would keep mail in her truck and then wait for someone else to deliver it.

Had same issues about 3 times now, envelopes have a hole poked in them towards the bottom, luckily nothing from my order has fallen out but each time their was no sample carto's at all in the envelopes.
To be honest I don't know if it's just poor package handling, or something worse. I do know the packages are shipped from Chicago which has notorious issues with postal employee's doing everything from tampering to theft.
I still remember the news story about the postal employee who had hundreds of pieces of mail in his garage.

I got my stuff today and I dont know if its from improper package care but theres a couple rips in the package as if they were trying to look in it through the plastic wrap... I wonder if they are suspicious of me? lol or Im just paranoid...!
I live in NY state. Legislation still up in the air. I'm definitely paranoid. Customer isn't the one who gets hit if they pass the thing - the supplier is.

I have learned lot of conspiracy facts. Once one's eyes have been opened to how things really work, you can never see anything the same way again. Down the rabbit hole I went, into the matrix of reality. Nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about ...
I am in the same boat as you. I just got a shipment in today and the bag was ripped. Only there was no bubble wrap... I have everything on the invoice. So who knows what freebies I am missing. Stupid postal service.
ya i didnt get freebies either, but there wasn't an actual hole in the bag. I just didnt get em this time. oh well Ive gotten plenty before! its no big deal they are free!
Paranoia comes in handy. When my wife and I were visiting her family in alabama my mistrust of people came in handy. People down there are too trusting of drug addicts who stop their car infront of you, two people jump out, and rush to your car. Her brother thought they wanted help and was going to stop and talk to them. My knife said get back in your car or face the consequences.
