I have to echo this. I went from smoker to vaper in a very short time but it took me forever to actually decide to do it. It took vaping to give me an easy out.
The second major milestone was serendipitous...and that was realising I didn't need my vape after a while when I was out. I didn't jones for it like I did with smoking.

Isn't that the greatest feeling !!

6 years smoke-free this month.

Other milestones I'm proud of is converting my son, sister, nephew, and my daughter's boyfriend from being smokers to vapers. Probably converted dozens and dozens of customers into vapers when I worked in a vape shop.

And probably kept many of them safe, too.

Hopefully I've kept many folks on this forum safer, too. :)

That was the basis of my comment - you have. I count myself as one. In my early days and knowing nothing, you taught me a lot. Though after five years on here and more confident, I still try to not miss your posts.

Yes it is...well, second greatest feeling. The first greatest feeling is catching the guinea pig your idiot brother launched 200 yards with a pumpkin chucker. That can only end one of two ways, with you as the hero of the day or with your little sister crying all through Thanksgiving dinner.

Just passed the 5 year mark just over a week ago, other than that its building and DIY that are my milestones.
Ohh yaaa....not hearing my wife complain about her hitter and atty for 5 years now could be called a milestone but being an accomplishment is a better phrase.;)

8 years a vaper as of next month, and 3 years on ECF as of last February.
At least a dozen new vapers helped with advice and PIF gear IRL, and hopefully lots more via the forum.
The real game changing milestone for me was discovering RDAs.

Milestone - not sure. I've had many, but the biggest is that I don't smoke. At one point in life I stopped thinking that was possible, even my son laughed at me when I said I was going to try to quit yet again, this time via vaping. He didn't think it was possible either.

It's nice to be able to say I don't smoke when asked. It's nice to be able to breathe. It's nice to spend money on anything I want to spend money on and not have to set aside enough for an addiction.

Quitting was very difficult for me... even with vaping, but after getting through the initial withdrawals I did very well... and am now a non smoker..

That's what all this is about, and what it's for. To become non smokers...

It's an amazing milestone in life. Period. I credit God and vaping for the feat.
