Hello everyone! This is as you know my first post. I've been researching the e-cig for a few days now and all the information and opinions are making my head hurt. I'm really psyched about getting my first e-cig but I still have no idea what to buy or where to buy it. I've narrowed it down possibly to a few models and such, like the 510, 401, and 902. But I don't know what good and reliable US store or site to purchase from or if there are different makers of each that I should look for or avoid. I think I've done a good job researching all this and I even have alot of the people I work with hyped up about the e-cig and cant wait for me to get mine so that they can see it and try it and even maybe switch to an e-cig over their nasty analogs. Can anyone provide a good site to purchase from or anything about manufacturers or sites to avoid? More about good stuff than bad I guess. Read plenty of bad. Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and help in advance.

Hi, I haven't been vaping long, but I've got both the 402 and the 510 and I love them both. Over about the last week I've been switching off with them to see which I like better and I find myself using the 510 the most.

The strange thing is I expected to use the 510 for more around the house and take the 402 with me since it's smaller and I've found that I'd rather do the opposite. The 510 pretty much always gives a great hit, has a good battery life and holds plenty of juice. The 402 is great for dripping juice directly to the atomizer or dipping it, but it doesn't seem to hit as good for as long as the 510. It's really very close though, either are great.

My one piece of advice though is to make sure you order some juice with your first order. I didn't and I ran through a ton of carts. Getting some liquid made the whole experience much better.

As for where to buy it, I got my 510 from the smoke safe and the 402 from a store in china, but the model specific forums under the review section has lists of different suppliers if you want to check it out.

I have a 510, 801 and 901. I was fortunate to get some great help and advice from the first supplier I used (Eric at VaporStation). I bought my first "e-cig" from him, the Joye510. Of course, I just had to buy two others to compare... and that lead to my 801 and 901 purchases.

The 801 is already packed away. I never could get a decent throat hit or flavor out of it. Most of the time, I just ended up with a mouthful of eLiquid. But that's me. Other users love the 801. Maybe it's the way I vape... but it just didn't work for me.

The 901 was a little better than the 801, but still not as good as my original 510.

I would say 90% of the time, I get good vapor, flavor and throat hit on my 510. The other 10% of the time, it's usually something easily fixed, like changing the battery, atomizer or refilling the cartridge.

I did run into a problem about 3 days ago. Seemed like I couldn't taste anything, no throat hit, etc... no matter what I did. New batteries didn't help, new atomizers didn't help, changing PVs didn't help... then I came down with a Summer cold (or Summer allergies). Once that was over, I could taste everything again. So for now, I'm chalking that one up to biological issues rather than technical issues.

Those are my experiences. Good luck with the PV you choose. There are a lot of terrific, helpful people here -- 24 hours a day. :)

Oh, if you happen to choose a 510 -- make sure you get MANUAL batteries for it (that's the one with the little button on it). Mine came with 1 automatic and 1 manual battery. I've since purchased additional manual batteries, and the automatic battery never sees the light of day.

I just made a purchase from innovapor cause I saw some nice reviews about them and liked their simple design to the website and ease of ordering. I got the $40 starter and a $30 dollar starter as well as a small bottle of each flavor to try them all out. Looking forward to getting it in a few days from what is advertised and said about them. Hoping its a good transaction. Always the nervousness of dealing with a new site. Very excited about the whole electronic smoking thing. Getting one tomorrow from a local store to hold me over till I get the one in the mail. Dont know the brand of it or anything but no matter what it will be a fun experiance.

You'll be pleased with Innovapor. I've ordered from them before. They're a good, solid company and appear to be very committed to customer service.

You didn't say which PVs you bought from Innovapor -- was it the EVO or the 510?

I decided on the 510's. Sorry I left that out lol. Got spare atomizers and batteries as well as a good amount of fluid. Does anyone find vaping with a manual e-cig to be wierd? Since you have to push a button on it before you draw I would think it would make it odd to hold.

Personally, I've found that since an electronic cigarette is so much heavier than an analog, I can't really hold it between my two fingers anyway. And I find that the button is right where I need it to be to press with either my middle finger (if I have the button on top) or with my thumb (if I have the button on the bottom) so it turns out I pretty much hold my 510 the same way I was holding my RN4081 (NPro) model with automatic batteries.

And pressing the button became second nature very quickly, for me anyway.

I got a e-cigar first and it was very disappointing to the fact i was about to give up on vape. But after a week of more reading up i gave the 510 yeti a try from Midwestvapor.com after learning how to load the cart with juice Properly I've fallen in love. I corrently went thru Altsmoke.com to get new flavor of juices and a few misc that midwest didn't have. If you choice a 510 and i do suggest as a noob like my self you should then i'd go thru one of these sites. i just put in my order to altsmoke today so i can't really suggest it besides the reviews on it are insanily good on the forums. O and if you go thru midwest get the mint juice you'll love it. I know i do.

Well I'm all about some mint flavor on anything so I'm definately going to look into Midwestvapor.com and see what they got and all that fun stuff. Dying to get my 510 in the mail. Feels like waiting forever. Watched more vids and reviews online and I'm also now interested in the EVO as well lol. Seems like the nicotine isnt the only thing adictive about these things lol.

I got a 510 kit from lnnovapor. Great cig, great people. The only problem is that I am becoming addicted to the Ecopure liquid they include. It has almost no taste, but what it does have is clean and sweet. I'm finding all my other juices harsh. Throat hit is marginal, but since it is VG based, the vapor on the 510 is outstanding. Really need to top-off a lot though. The VG doesn't wick real well and I get the burning taste fairly quickly. I keep my bottles with me all day.

Did you have the DSE-701 or the RN4062. I have an RN4062 and it rocks.

Midwestvapor.com had a nice selection of flavors but they only had 2 choices of strength and both were higher than I wanted and I dont want to mix them down or anything so I dont think that will be the place for me. Anyone know some good US sites with a big selection of liquids and strengths? And good prices are important too.
Try myfreedomsmokes.com and see if that pushes your buttons.
I have an 12-pack 3ml sampler on the way from them as we speak.

Overall the best prices by far are going to be from China. Ruyan Direct has hundreds if not thousands of buyers from this forum with very favorable reviews. In the US I would recommend Rocky Mountain - free shipping.
