I fired off a email to them. Does anyone know if there some kind of liner in them? My passage way became so small I thought it was built up dried juice but when I stuck a thick paperclip thru to unclog I seemed to have sealed it completely. Not sure if scraping the insides clogged it dried juice or if I scraped some kind of liner inside. The DT is perfect except for that...maybe a drill...very strange...

I have one of the Ming delrin, it does not have anything inside. They do clog with juice if you do not clean them. I would say just soak it at least once a week and then it will be fine. I have some of the small O rings if you need a couple.

If they are the same for the Pawn I'd really appreciate it Karen thank you.

I will check when I get home to be sure. BTW, I throw mine in the ultrasonic to clean. Then take a toothbrush and just scrub them. The soak in the ultrasonic is just vinegar, works well.

I can only guess the spongy foam like stuff was built up dried old juice...euwwwwww since my new pawn doesn't have it. I clean my attys frequently but don't think to clean the DTs...now I know better. Btw i thought to check my regular derlin DTs after this incident with the pawn and they were all fine. Must be due to the shape of the Pawn to collect juice like that. I swear what I drilled out appeared spongy rubberish/foamish not sticky material....very strange.

Btw, any of you that have Pawns...how many O-rings are on yours? Thanks

That is almost as nasty as me finding a ring of dried juice on my lip after I took a vape. EEEEWWWWWWEEEEE! I pulled them all off and cleaned them! Probably should do that again this week!
Clean your drip tips people! You might just have old spongy dried juice, or caramelized juice lurking in them!
Like Mom would say "YOU PUT YOUR MOUTH ON THAT!" LOL

Especially this time of year it is a good idea to soak your Drip tips in PGA over night or for a hour or so and often, and keep them extra clean ! The mucus from your mouth gets on these and then you keep using them everyday. I have a spray bottle of PGA and another with alcohol filled in both bottles and spray mine everyday before I begin vaping, this is the best way to keep them clean daily and be sure your not getting any germs from your Drip Tips !

If you have a mod like a Reo or any Mod really with a catch cup you can see a little bit of crud that builds up in the cup after a while, especially if you vape a fruit flavor ejuice, this crud you dont want to be eating or vaping, same stuff gets in drip tips after a while so keeping them clean is important.

Could it have been pocket fuzz? I just can't imagine liquid collecting in there like that, particularly on one of the Cherry Vape tips with their bigger center hole. However, if a pv drops down to lie sideways on the bottom of my pocket, more often than not there will be some fluff inside the hole of the tip when it's brought out (somehow, it's always in the tip, not the catch cup).

Not that pocket fuzz is any less gross than dried liquid mixed with bits of *us*, but it's the density and the near-complete blockage you describe that makes me think it's not just liquid.

Oh, and the Pawn and Ming I purchased about two months ago each had one o-ring.

Actually it must have been just dried juice and "me" lol since my woodvils never see a pocket even when I travel it sits in the cup holder. Btw it didn't totally clog till I started poking and prodding it to make the passage way larger.....gross. I asked about the 2nd o-ring cause when I removed one it looked like 2 came off but now looking closer (and seeing the new one) it may have been the very bottom lip the o-ring sits on so it probably a lost cause now. I make sure to treat the new one like I' treat my attys with constant care and cleaning.

Yuckie! (I had to go rinse out my tip after this thread...it wasn't horrible but still...)

They're surprisingly delicate, I treat the Ming like glass since I managed to break the Pawn just taking it off. Just a wee bit too much torque and SNAP!, right at the base. Took surgery to get the stem part out of the atomizer.
