Hey Guys,

I was curious to see how small I could make a working adapter to go from a 901 battery to a 510 atty. This is what a came up with, its pretty rough, finish size is 15/32" or 11.56mm, less then a half inch total, half the size of a 901 charging adapter. I used the same threading tools and brass rods that are sticky'ed on this forum. The center insulator is a threaded piece of delrin that threads into the adapter, has a hole drilled through and a T shaped piece of brass is pressed into it for the center conductor. This was threaded into the connector and loc-tighted into position. The contour machined onto the surface was just for looks and not functional. I am waiting on some tooling to cut final draw notches on the 510 atty end.

Cheers

I was just looking on how can I possibly accomplish this exact adapter (could not even dream it can be this small!) when I came by your thread. Awesome!!! Is there anyway you can sell me a couple? Much appreciated!

Ditto Cisco! I would be interested too, if you are wanting to make a few bucks...

Tryp

Sorry Guys, This was a one off. The machine time makes these not so cost effective to sell.

Look really nice :) I love how shinny it is :p Although the top of your atty looks like it has been through a lot of rough nights ;P

Thanks guys....

Only a few rough nights Rob....:D
I am using my original atty from my first 510 that I got in April, I replace the cart every so often but over 4 months on the same atty, Dont ask me how or why, cause I don't know....
