so im planing on ordering a provari and looking between the regular and mini my only question is i see everyone saying use 3ohm cartos on the mini for more battery life, well anyone using 2 omh'ers if so how long are you geting out of one 18350?

A fully charged 18350 on a Mini with Boge LR carto @ 4v ~ 4.2v lasted approximately 5 hrs (moderate vaping), might get an extra hr if I'd waited for the low battery flashing warning. I usually set to recharge when it's at 3.3v underloaded just to make sure the battery wouldn't be overstrained.

3 ohm cartos will only make your battery last longer than the 2 ohm cartos if you are vaping both at the same voltage...
You wouldnt be vaping them at the same voltage . 3ohm cartos will give a little better life at higher voltages then 2 ohm cartos or comparable wattages. Remember a 2ohm at 4.2v is about the same wattage as a 3ohm at 5v
Oh, you're right... My mistake. A 2 ohm @ 4.2v does draw a higher amperage. Almost .5 amps higher
is this the common practice in the vaping world? i usually let my batteries run until i notice a decrease in vapor before i remove them to charge. i rotate between three batteries. right off the charger they read 4.1 - 4.2 and i run them down to 3.1 - 3.2 before i charge. once it dropped to 2.8 before i had to charge. is this damaging to my batteries? will this decrease the life of my batteries?
Its fine . The normal discharge voltage on a IMR is 2.5v . Some say it will decrease lifespan running them lower then 3v but according to AW life will only be reduced below 2.5v. THe Provari will cut off at 3.2-3.3v
My apology due to typo... It should be 3.3v underloaded. There is 0.2v difference in reading on 'Cb' between unloaded and underloaded, so practically I recharge the battery when it is @3.4v ~ 3.5v.

I am not using 2ohm. But with 3ohm cartos at 4.5v, I am going through 2 batts a day. That is TOTALLY ok with me!
I am getting between 6 to 8 hours or 2.5ml of juice out of mine with a 18350 and a 2.0ohm carto at 4.2v. As Str8 has pointed out before, times will vary between users because of different vaping styles.
I just want to add that a nice thing about the mini with an extension cap that takes the 18490 battery is that it is actually shorter than the regular, which is a major plus as the 18490 does give a good bit more usable life. I only get about 2 ml and a few hours on the 18390s.
I use boge 3 ohms at 4.7v and I get anywhere from 6 - 8 hours. I've been rotating 4 batteries.
I wanted max battery life over size, so went with the regular + extension cap... Can certainly appreciate those that want the smaller size, but it seems at odds to also be going for battery life when you're choosing a PV that can only hold smaller batteries

I own both Provari sizes.... Would always go for the big one first.... The mini is a great little back-up though...
I can totally appreciate how others dig it.. For myself, the size difference seems too little to justify the reduced battery capacity versus being slightly easier to store somewhere as a backup or something, or simply preferring to hold a smaller unit (LOL). To each their own, though

I have tried the full size and mini is both cap modes--Standard and extented... The regular Stainless cap does look nice with the contrast against my Black Satin Provaris, And the mini is cool in short cap mode...
I do prefer the feel of the extended cap over the standard cap.. It has a smoother rounded edge with no dimples thats more comfortable in the hand........IMO
