Mini Lava Tube what cartos do I use for high voltage vaping?

I just bought a Mini Lava Tube but as soon as I put the voltage up from 3v it just tastes burnt and nasty what cartos do I use for high voltage vaping? I'm using cleromisers at the mo' maybe I should go for the normal ones with the wadding inside.
This is probably a silly question but I'm new to this I'm used to a normal Ego 510 just thought I have a go.
