I like the Pro tank and its many variations although I haven't tried them all because I don't usually buy something just because the next model came out, although they do have quite the choice available now, lol. Anyway I thought it would be nice to get the Mini Pro Tank for when I'm not at home since its much smaller then the Pro Tank, not as top heavy, and can easily fit in my pocket (shirt or pants). Like I said I do like my Pro Tank but it can be a pain to carry around because of its size and it being top heavy I always need to be aware of where I'm setting down.

So I picked up the Pro Tank Mini II, no need for me to get the Mini III as I don't like dual coils (it's just not for me) and I didn't really see the need for the Mini Aero either as I already have a large Aero Tank and in reality I don't see all that much difference in having the Aero base or not but it can always be purchased and added later if desired.

I get it home fill it up with some Halo and let it rest a bit. Meanwhile I'm fairly impressed with the quality, it seems well built, everything fits great, ok the drip tips a bit loose but aren't they all on the Pro tanks lol, and I kinda like the darker base, it just looks nice. After waiting a while I hook it up to my battery to vape and what a disappointment it was. Very weak draw so I do it again, same thing a light weak draw, I can hear air getting in, it's not leaking so I figure ok bad coil and change it out. Nope new coil makes no difference whatsoever. I then test the two coils on another tank just to be sure and both coils work fine on another tank so now I know its the Mini Tank that's the problem. I'm really disappointed in the Mini I was wanting it to be my carry around instead of the plastic tanks I use but that's not the case.

On a brighter side though my Pro Tank works great. I know its nothing new to you guys but I like it and it works for me. I just wish the Mini worked better and I also wish it held more liquid its a bit on the shabby side ml wise. I understand its a Mini tank but 2.0ml or 2.5ml would be much better.

I like the Mini Protank II, but I like a very airy vape. I know a lot of people block one of the air holes with tape or a broken off toothpick. The small volume is nice for me because I'm using four or five flavors at a time, and I keep my main ones in the larger toppers, and use the minis for the ones I switch out more.

Not sure ... by weak draw you mean airy? You prefer a tighter draw?

The base should have maybe 2 holes where the air gets in; you could block one of those holes to see if that's what you're talking about

I drill mine big: 1/16 inch.

IMHO, Kangertech as a whole is a mixed bag. Bought a mini aero, and it was great, so bought the mega. What a POS. Love the PT2, but only like half the coils I buy for it (gen Kangers, too) are worth spit. Also had to replace the o-ring on my brand new PT2 because it seeped. When they work, they REALLY work. When they don't, you're SOL. Got into rebuilding the coils, but I'm not that good at it yet.

My mega aero really soured me on Kanger. Both included coils were gurgling lousy pieces of junk. The threads were terrible. The seals were terrible. A clone would have been better. Just got a new atty for my aero mini, and it was junk, too. I'm just done with Kanger, myself.

If you really like it, God bless you. you had better luck than me. :(

I tired everything with it. I can use a H2 tank which has the same two hole base design and it hits much better. I don't know how else to explain it except to say its weak. Its not an air problem, it just doesn't have a good hit, at least to me it doesn't.

If its gurgling and flooding it might be that theres a space between the atomizer head and the center tube;
this would happen if
maybe they gave you the miniprotank3 but with the protank single coils; the single coils are shorter than the dual coils that come with the protank 3; the label is on the base not the tank itself so it's easy to make the mistake.

the fix would be to add a second silicone cap on the the coil.

Ya, Iiked my KPT2 for about a month and half, but Wall is right, half the authentic coils are bad out of the gate. The only way to get around that is to learn how to rebuild them, and once you`v done that reliably for a month, its time to go to a Kayfun and then on to the fogger.

I still use a mini when I`m out and about, but of course its been rebuilt.

No its not doing any of that and there's no leaking, it just hits really weak. Like I said even my H2 disposable tanks are much better.

ah; well maybe you're vaping on an mvp and when you screw down the eGo threads the base of the eGo base is hitting the flat top of the mvp and the center pins are barely contacting.
if that were the problem, you could verify if you have an ego battery to try it on, of if you have one of those 510-to-510/ego adapters you can stick on the mvp first so the miniprotank could screw down a millimeter further down.

The miniprotank is very simple tank; it's easy to figure out what the problem is.

The problem is it doesn't work good, lol, all my other tanks I have no problems with and any that I have had problems with I was able to figure it out.

I wasn't asking for advice to fix it I just posting what I thought about the tank, but thanks for all the tips everyone. It just didn't meet my expectations.

You're attributing to the 'tank' what might very well just be that the mod doesn't cater quite enough room for an eGo threaded tank to screw down. I can't say for sure because you haven't said what mod it is.

Or, it could be like I said. Half of what Kangertech produces is utter garbage. But, what do I know. Just my opinion. :p

Kindly address the original poster please.

Absolutely. Which I did. Then I quoted your post and commented, which I see you also do almost habitually.

I do apologize if my quoting you ruffled your feathers. Please feel free to ignore me.

I did quote you to give a counterpoint to what you said to the OP. I didn't address anyone in particular. I just replied with a quote.

My sincerest apologies if you have a problem with me. May I remind you again you can iggy me.

Thank you so much. :)

Believe me it's the tank and it makes no difference which battery I put it on. The tank looks great it just doesn't perform very good. If it did work like I had hoped it would I probably get another one however there's a few things I would change if I had the choice. I would much more prefer the tank to have a 2.0 ml or 2.5 ml capacity and it would be better to have the drip tip as one piece and non removable and of course actually work better.

So what batteries would that be.

Based on my experience with the Mini Protank 2, it performs very well. Although the stock coil may be fine for many people, to me the performance is sub-par using stock coils so I rebuild my own and it improves the performance dramatically...better flavor and vapor. Although I'm not sure what the issue is with yours, just make sure the coil is seated properly and all o-rings/seals are in place to make sure there are no air leaks (you can test it by covering the air holes on the base). If all else fails, you might consider exchanging it for another one to see if the one you got is somehow defective.

I tried my Vision Spinners, Ijoy Egos, and Evods all get the same result. Believe me its the tank.

It should screw down properly on those ego type batteries;

If you take the base off the tank, and make sure the coil is screwed in properly to the base, you can just screw the base directly onto the ego battery and pop the spire off and fire it with some juice on the coil to see how it performs.
