I've been vaping for over 4 years, completely tobacco-free, but I've been away from the forum for quite a while. After fiddling around with 51s (remember them?) I settled on Joye 510s. Did those for a couple of years before getting Ego batteries. I stayed with 510 attys and fluval in my carts. This worked great for me.

But this week I discovered a local brick & mortar store, and picked up a mini Protank II. WOW! I'm in love. I did find the draw a little too easy compared to my good old 510 attys, so I put some clear packing tape over 2 of the three air holes. It disappears completely, and the draw is much more to my liking.

Now I have to get a couple of 350 mini Ego batts, because on top of my 1300s, it has gotten pretty big.

I'm decidedly a mini Protank convert. Another one is definitely in my future.

144man,

I remember all the above :) 51s, fluval, did you make it to the blue foam? ;)

Mini protanks have done well for many here. I had a problem with the easy draw and the coils tended to clog up faster than the Tabac BCC's/Kanger T3's for me. Suggest you go with the 450 mini batt - better with the ego charger, lasts a little bit longer than the 350's and is only a few mm longer. Even the Joye 650's aren't that long with the mini-protank. Best choice is the eGo-c 'upgrade' available many places but cignot has good prices and they are true Joye products - last long, good threading and don't have the problems of clones/knockoffs.
