if u got the budget right now to spare you wont be sorry to get it now... most vapers that wanted one end up getting it (me included) .. after so many other devices purchased it ended up to be way more expensive than a provari..
the electronic chip in the provari is really consistent .... oyeah i use a protank2 and it works fine (you gatta loosen it a bit to provide more airflow)
if i were to do it over i should have gotten the provari from the get go... couple of ego twist/ eVic / mvp ..they are all given away as gifts to pay forward... i kept the provari ofcourse and got some mechanical mods for low ohm vaping.. bottom line if u gonna go variable mod u cannot go wrong with the provari

to drip u might wanna start on disposable dripping atty like the stingray bridgeless atomizer.. if u wanna build your own coils (1.3 ohms) minimum, you can give the youde igo-w a shot to see if u wanna move forward in rebuilding.. i got the hang of building so i got some high end toppers(atomizer) and a few nemesis clones from hcigar...

if you want it, have the cash for it, get it, it will save you time and money in the long run avoiding the constant stepping up until you eventually get it anyways.

it has it's plus and minuses but is worth the money where reliability and function are concerned, it's def not the only thing worth buying, but its def worth having and after that you get to worry about buying things because you want to try them not because "your 'Vari is broke"

If you can reasonably afford it, the Provari is a simple enough APV that a novice can easily learn to use it. I see no reason to spend less on a lesser quality mod before going straight to a Provari. Many a Provari owner has said that they wished they had purchased one sooner rather than later.

A Provari can use any 510-thread juice attachment. The Mini Protank uses eGo threading; the regular Protank uses 510 threading. You will need a 510-to-eGo adaptor to use the Mini Protank on the Provari.

To drip on a Provari, you can use any 510 atomizer. ProVape Electronic Cigarette Atomizers & Cartomizers Refill and Instructional Video - YouTube

Thanks for the good info. My instincts are that jumping to the Provari early is a smart move.. so I am not rotating batteries charging all flipping day, but it's the tanks etc. I am confused about to get the best performing, easiest setup without having to get into rebuilding. Too busy for that. Gotta fit in flossing my teeth, laundry, walking the dogs, life stuff, in between massive work hours LOL!! Looking for a high functioning plug and play setup.. I don't think it's out there yet. Any thoughts?

Just bought a Provari Mini a few days ago. If you have the $ it's worth it. I moved up to this from an Ego so I'm still relatively new to vaping myself. It's really easy to use if, like most things, you just read the manual before you begin. They don't ship a paper manual with it in an effort to conserve paper but you can view the full manual online on Provape.com

6 days in and I am itching to get the pretty Provari mini... should I wait a bit? Can I use the mini protank on it? What do I need to get if I want to drip occasionally?
Tks!

If you are thinking about getting one... just do it. I bought my Mini when I was only two weeks into vaping. I love it and so will you. I drip all the time with my Nimbus clone. I think I paid a whopping $11 for it. Google it or the Igo-W. You will want to build the coil(s) so that it won't draw too many amps. One of my drippers is a 1.2 Ohm coil and the Provari Mini handles it with ease. I ALWAYS use the bigger 18490 battery when I drip and the smaller 18350 for regular atomizers with higher ohms.

I hemmed and hawed about getting a Provari but once I got one I wished I would have done it sooner like so many others. I use drip tanks all the time with it and have even gone down to .9 ohms and my Provari fired it up at 3 volts like a champ!

I have 4 other mods but my Provari is the go to and gets used the most by far, you won't be disappointed.

Definitely go for the Provari early. I wish I had sooner. Grab yourself 4 aw imr 18350s, a nitecore intellicharger, and a Davide Aspire BDC glassomizer. The reason I say the bdc and not a protank is that the davide can use aspire OR protank coils, so you can try both. It also seems to have much better airflow than the protank on my provari, so I don't have to fiddle. The glass is easy to replace if need be, holds a ton of juice, and the top cap has more of a flat flange on it which (if you worry about these things) gives you more options for a drip tip to use without it hanging over or wobbling.

If you want simple, easy and reliable, I haven't found better. Good luck!
