Okay, I'm sure Spazmelda will see this post...
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and rda's!"

So now down to the actual question. I'm on the hunt for a mini rda. 14mm preferrably or very close to it. No aluminum or brass. Lets see if we can keep the price point below $20, clones welcome for recommendations. Help please?

Here you go. I use one of these often; not the easiest to rebuild since it is small, but it is very inexpensive and works great. Gives a good, flavorful hit. Air flow is up through the middle instead of holes in the side.

A7 MINI Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer Kit

These guys are a little higher and have recently jacked the price, but search for mini A7 atomizer and you'll surely find a cheaper source.

Almost forgot, diameter is only 12.25 mm. Just a little smaller than you asked for.

There are actually several 14 mm RBA's to choose from.
There's the Doc Dave if you want to try a high end Genny. The machine work on this is the best you will ever see. I just have a problem with spending more for an atty than I did for the PV I would put it on.

The A6/A7 series is a good choice. The A7 is my favorite RDA.

The A7 is 14.2mm, and the A7 Mini is 12mm

Igo S is one of my favorite mini RDAs. It does have a tiny air hole (but can be drilled) but it's fairly easy to coil & the flavor is nice when you have a good build. It's 14mm.

    IGO-S (mini IGO-L) Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer-Stainless Steel [gv-IGO-S-Stainless] - $13.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

    I like the looks/price of the IGO-S...

I've found a few other mini RDA's I really like but of course they are all well out of my budget for this project

Learning and growing :) I have lots of different juices and getting into dripping just sounds like a good idea. I'm pretty comfortable rebuilding my protank coils now. Its a logical next step

well many congrats, if you end up liking dripping, but find dripping too much of a hassle, might i suggest looking at a reo... but make sure you like dripping first... all the flavor, vapor and joys of dripping... but instead of dripping you just squeeze a bottle

I'd suggest either an Igo-s or a stainless ERA clone. Some of the stainless ERA clones only have a steel cap and drip tip, and the deck is plated brass, but Sunvapers sells the full stainless version.

The Igo-s is a better quality device IMHO, the ERA clones are known for having shoddy posts (some twist or fall out) where as the Igo-S is built very well.

Considering how cheap the ERA clones and the Igo-S are, you could get both, I believe the caps are swapable, so you could use the better deck of the Igo-s and the larger cap of the ERA.

My IGO-S should be here tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it :)

    You'll like the IGO-S, I know!!:D
The first -S I used was a modded bottom-feeder for the Reo....a bit pricier than stock because of the mod, but worth every penny!!
I've since bought another stock -S to complement my "family" of IGO-L's and -W's!!
BTW....the -S platform isn't THAT much smaller than an -L....so you shouldn't have a problem mounting micro - or even NANO - coils on it!
    Enjoy!
    Happy (vaping) Trails!

My new igo-s with the air hole opened up, a lot. Nice loose draw like I prefer and great vapor production. Awesome little beastie.
It's on my 1300mAh vision spinner running a 2.3ohm microcoil cotton wicking

We were at the in-laws, I don't have exact measurements for the hole size, no organization in the work shop. Here's a picture from earlier in the day, see how little the hole was? Not horrible but a pretty tight draw.
It's a bit more open then I'd prefer I think, but I'd rather have the draw be too loose than too tight. I'm totally hooked on mini drippers now and will be looking to upgrade to an even nicer one at some point
