Hi,

I'm still very new to this all, so forgive me if this should be obvious.
After checking out instructions - including a couple of how to videos - on cleaning the vivi nova, I tried it out. I've been using it for about a week, filled 2x on the mini size, and it was starting to drop in vapor and taste. So I followed the directions (disassembled, rinsed all the parts, paper-towel dried the parts, reassemble without the small silicone cap and blow excess water from the tube, put silicone cap on, refill with e juice) and...
When I refilled and put it back on my eGo-c twist it didn't work. No hiss, crackle, or heat. Nothing. I put it on an eGo mini (unknown maker picked up at a local store) and it works. Could I have missed a step or done it incorrectly? Does the fact it doesn't work on the twist mean I shouldn't use it at all? If it makes any difference I am using 100% VG liquid from virgin vapors. Kona coffee milkshake before and after. Any ideas/advice are appreciated!

thanks,
michie

It could be that either your center post on the Viva or your battery is depressed. You could try pulling the center post on the Viva Nova out about 1mm with a paperclip or if nothing else is working on that battery you could pull the post on the battery. Here is a video on how to pull the post on your battery:

When attaching you clearo's try not to over tighten them as this can depress your post. Hope you find an answer to your problem!

Seems odd that it would work on one and not the other - is your connector peg on the eGo compressed? Is the atty screwed into the clearo base nice and tight?

Hi Victor, it is odd. I think everything is where it's supposed to be. I tightened the atty back on the post just until it stopped.

Have you tried a different device on top of the twist? It would help rule out the battery as the problem.

Hi Tony, I have tried a ce5 on the twist and it works fine. So different clearomizer on the twist is ok, and mini vivi on the mini ego is ok, but not mini vivi on twist. I read that the twist has protection against shorts, and I'm guessing the mini ego doesn't, so that's what has me concerned beyond just the general oddness.

Hi SASmith, thanks for the advice and video link. I will take some notes and give it a look.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts and suggestions. Thanks! :)
