Ive had my mini nova for alittle over a week now and with first 1.8 head was working great.Next 2.4 head was to tight of draw and had another 1.8 head burn out and another 1.8 head I just put in has burning taste :( Still have extra couple of heads and regret getting it now cause it was just a waste of money .Can anyone recommend a better clearomizer that is lr that wont be so much hassle. At this point Im just going to go back to my boge lrs and just get rid of the nova because Im tired of these damn clearos never working right or dying after a week.Any help for a better setup would be great thanks :) I know some people swear by them but its just not for me.

Somewhere out there
Well I tried a Vivi Nova and i must say I was not impressed either. I like the Screw tank better, it has a new name on Got Vapes, but it also has a few issues, like juices collect around the hole at top that needs wiped off from time to time, but it works pretty good. Basically thoI find clearos problematicand I always go back to cartos and carto tanks. bnrk

Have you tried putting your boges in a tank? They self fill that way, and keep the carto's wet so they last longer and best of all, no constant dripping! IBTanked.com has inexpensive ones. You might also want to get a cheapo tank filler tool. They sell more expensive ones, but for a few bucks the cheapos work great and save your seals.

And FWIW, I hate clearos also. Mine all eventually leaked. Plus the muted silica wick thing, and of course the juice in the mouth. Nope, no love lost on those things, just money down the drain.

I had one dct tank and it just leaked and was a hassle.

That would be a seal malfunction, or the wrong sized carto in the wrong tank. The tank tool will help save your seals by not having the carto rip into them. OCD is the member here who has a small family business, IBTanked.com. He is a really nice guy and can answer any questions you might have about them. I really love mine, they work very well.

I cannot comment on a DCT as I have never used one, but I think they require the kind of cartos with the lip on them? I may be dead wrong on that though! I own JB's, Bedazzles and Phiniacs which are pricey, and is why I was recommending the less expensive ones that OCD makes to start out with.

I tried carto tanks and loved them! I heard all these great things about the Vivi's and ordered a pair. Not for me at all! Muted flavors and a burnt taste after a while, not what I wanted or expected at all. I've traded them off for an RBA that I'm waiting to show up now, and gone back to carto tanks. The only problems I have with carto tanks is cheap carto's, and trying to contain the mess when I fill them. I wouldn't go back if I had to, I'd rather use regular cartomizer's than the Vivi's!

Great, With all the good said about the vivi I ordered 4 of them with extra heads should be here today, Loved the carto tanks but them my cartos started in with burning on the first vape to lasting only a day or two. Purchased 2 did clones and 5 aga-ts and have been playing with them but they can be aggravating as well and cannot be laid down on there sides without leaking.

+1 for the inexpensive tank filler think mine is a ming from COV under $5

Oooops its a Siam and its under $4

Well I don't think the mini is all bad but it isn't all good.
It isn't a good portable vape
It doesn't travel well
It is pesky to fill

Under the right circimstances
It produces good clouds
It produces a nice muted vape, I prefer that but that is my wish.

it is expensive and it cost more than a Kanger T2 or T3. So, it is not a big winner with me.
I do like the larger Vivi Nova and when needed may consider another one. For portable use I much prefer the Kangers

The old eGo type B tank has been my standard of comparison of almost 2 years. The only problem is that they leak occasionally. Plus the heating elements are $5 each..not cheap.

I've also tried boges after all the good reviews 6 to 12 months ago, and I couldn't stand them. The filler "cotton" taste turned me off, plus they're hard to keep filled--too much fuss.

Then I got a generic clearomizer and it was OK, but the type B tank just puts out a lot more vapor and has a much easier draw in comparison.

I just got a Kanger T2, and this is the only one I've tried that is up there with the type B. Easy draw, as much vapor, and so far, no leaks. Easy to fill and also cheap ! The only problem is that the vape is a little hot, and sometimes no vapor comes out because the wicks are not wet, so you have to turn it upside down or on its side. But the heating elements can be had for as little as $1 each.

I think I'll try try the Kanger T3 next since it's supposed to be cooler and has the wicks on the bottom of the tank instead of on the top like the T2, so maybe they'll stay wet more reliably. But everything for the T3 costs more.

So, everyone has their experience and opinions, and that's mine. I hope it helps someone.

(I use 1.8 to 2 ohm resistance and a Twist battery.)
