Minimal flavour from vaping at 45 Watts on a 0.6 Ohms Coil

So I started vaping on a 1.6 Ohms coil in my Kangar Pangu utilizing a Sigelei Touchscreen mod, mouth to lung, and got tons of flavour. I switched my coil to the alternative 0.6 Ohms piece and am currently straight to lung vaping as I found the method more appealing after several uses. However, now I am getting little to no flavour. I used the exact e-liquid on the 1.6 and got tons previously (416 Vapes Dragonfruit is my e-liquid of choice at the moment) but now the vapor feels almost tasteless.

Could I be doing something wrong? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

What wattage were you running the 1.6 ohm coils at for a comparison? You might just need more power to get the same flavor when subohming.

20 watts, the 0.6 coil reads it can go up to 50 and I'm at 45 already unfortunately.

Could there be less flavor(seemingly) because you are taking a shorter drag at 45 watts.
Did you try 20 watts on the .6 coil?

I'm taking longer hits for sure and the vapour is very thick. I tried decreasing to 20 on the .6 and it barely produces anything.

Hmm. Dont have that tank, but I use Kanger sub ohm tank with a .6 at 20 watts and all is good.
I see this Pangu is a different beast. Gotta be a sweet spot somewhere.

Hmm, might just try to get a new tank in this case it seems and keep the Pangu strictly for M2L. I'll try talking to my local vape shop about it. Any recommendations for reasonably priced tanks where I can still taste decent flavour on a .6?

I'm using a Uwell Crown. It has 0.5 ohm coils available. Ratcheted airflow ring is adjustable for mouth-to-lung to direct-lung hits. I'm quite impressed with both the flavor and vapor production. I'm only using it at 30 watts.

I resolved the issue by just purchasing more 1.6 coils for now, I'll have to shop around a bit more and see what's available as far as tanks goes. Shame, the Pangu is a really good Mouth to Lung tank in my opinion.

If you're into making coils and wicking them, the Sigelei Moonshot is well regarded as a lower-resistance flavour-maker.

EDIT - If you're only into pre-made factory coils, then the Uwell Crown is a well regarded low-resistance flavour-maker, too.

This seems another situation for trial and error.

Very low ohm, high power
low ohm, medium power
middle ohm, middle power
higher ohm, low power.

Often in vaping. I get tired of a flavor. Well, my taste buds get tired of a flavor. I change tanks several times a day. Is the flavor of the juice strong enough for flavor?

Another thing to consider is the juice. Is it too thick (VG) for the topper? Has the flavor been good on a different mod/topper?

I love my Pangu tank! I am using the SS316L PGOCC .5Ω coils and have not changed one yet! Not an all day use for me because Sub Ohming even with 3MG can be too much nicotine for me!
