I'm sick........

Ears hurt, nose is stuffed, have a fever, crap. Every single start of the school year, these rugrats go off to the seventh circle of hell, (aka our public school) i swear they must go around licking floors or something, and then they drag in their infectious little selves, back to my house and put their grubby little paws all over everything I flipping own. In turn, I always get sick. LIKE CLOCKWORK. every single year, never EVER fails. And this year has proven to be no different

uggh!!!!!

Sooooo what do y'all vape when your sick....i'm thinking since i cant really taste anything maybe peppermint ice cream? probably catch a hint of the mint..........

THIS SUCKS next year i'm sending them to school in BUBBLE WRAP

i don't, never vaped menthol, BUT ya know, it would be a good idea to get a bottle of something menthol for times like this i almost exclusively vape KBV (have one flavor i get from a different vendor, but i'm hoping my latest order will have it's replacement as well) so can you recommend a good menthol for my "sick" days

Oh wow that sucks! I take for granted that I have such a good immune system(I haven't gotten more than a couple hours worth of the sniffles in over a decade), but I know it's gonna come back and bite me in the behind one of these days. My girlfriend is the same way though, the kids go back to school, and in less than a week she is horribly ill. In fact she is just now starting to bounce back from it.

I hope you get well soon. As far as vapes, I think the menthols would probably be the best. Preferably something VG, since PG can be a throat irritant, and if you are sick your throat is already a weak point. If you don't already have a sore throat you don't want it, and if you do have a sore throat you don't want to make it worse.

Well vape placid is KBV's menthol joose you can try some of that.Also PG may be better than straight vg since PG is an anti microbial.Hospitals pump PG through their air vents for that purpose.

That is a good point. I didn't think about that. On the other hand they aren't pumping a fog of it into your throat and lungs. Vaping PG has a tendency to dry your throat out pretty badly, which is why they suggest you at least double your fluid intake when you first start vaping.

Perhaps an 80VG/20PG or even the default 60VG/40PG blend would be best, so you still get the anti-microbial action of the PG, without the potential irritation.

pg has never seemed to bother me on the other hand, i cant vape a high vg, some is ok, but too much doesnt agree with me. pg hasnt bothered my throat yet (KNOCK ON WOOD), ......does kbv cantaloupe have menthol? vape placid is tobacco right? i guess it's too late for this back to school "go around", but i really do want a good menthol in my next order for a "just in case" joose......bwhahahahaha, my arsenal would be complete

oh my never mind , i just loaded up a ce3 with steeped peppermint ice cream, and hells yeah! i can taste the peppermint and call me crazzzy, but i think i can taste the ice cream too!!! oh yeah! get some COLD! you are no match for KBV!

Hi tiffy... Glad to hear that the peppermints working for you... I just ordered some vape placid and even though I never smoked/vaped menthol before...I find it's not overwhelming strong and is a nice change when I've over vaped lol..I use it for mixing alot..For instance, If your cold gets worse a few drops of vape placid in a little of your peppermint might boost it to tast again..Its also nice to have to put a background drop in fruit jooses... Hope you feel better fast
