Misinformation takes on a Whole new Direction - Dental Profiteering

For anyone interested, Redstone Dental is using the ecig as an opportunity to promote business........ in a negative light.

Yes what they say may almost sound correct, but.......................

Well read up and make up your own mind.

Just add the www in front
.redstonedental.com/e-cigarettes-safe-industry-believe/

Edit: My apologies. Did not even realize I posted in the wrong Section.

I see what you are saying but in a way, I think it would be a great way to spread the word, so to speak, about a wonderful alternative to smoking. Would love to see it in my dentists office. I actually would like to see the entire medical profession have a more open mind and the initiative to do some research and promote vaping especially since I am already convinced that it is a healthier alternative.

I am sure it does not benefit dental health. Cigarette smoke is not good for your teeth. Many other kinds of smoke will make teeth fall out if used habitually. How many different type of things can a person inhale, besides fresh air, that are good for teeth? It seems to me that vapers seem to be very bothered whenever anyone says that fresh air is healthier than vaping. Of course, it is.

It's a totally junk article. No data, all speculation and fear mongering.

Just one example out of many from the article:

'electronic cigarette tooth decay' links to this web page on reddit for support of the claim.

Check out the link. It reports improved tooth and gum health from many people after switching to vaping.

Vape it like you stole it :)

The way the first paragraph is written (I didn't get farther) makes it BLATANTLY clear that the intention of the article is to CATCH SEARCH RESULTS. It is a webpage specifically designed as a marketing tool so that if someone google's "e-cigarette" and "teeth" they might be in the results and potentially capture a new patient.

Doc's gotta make a living.

Dentist here.

Totally agree that the article is clickbait. It's typical run of the mill stuff that doesn't really say anything useful or provide any real insight.

I discuss vaping with all my patients who are smokers and have converted several to vaping. Small victories, but as a health practitioner I try to be as upfront and as honest as I can, and having my own personal story with cigarettes to share has made an impact in a few situations. I even break out my Vamo and show patients who are interested!!

I'm sure many of my colleagues would frown upon this, but it's changed my life and hopefully others can benefit.

Hello. My name is William Tate. I contribute to a large forum on the subject of e cigarettes. One subject I have spent quite a bit of time studying and posting about are health related subjects involving e cigarettes. It is not always easy considering how much misinformation is being spread about these devices as of late. Would you mind citing your sources related to the dental health risk associated with with these devices? I have not myself read any studies involving dental health and e cigarettes specifically. At what level does nicotine become damaging to the teeth and gums.

Lets see if i get a response

Healthy, healthier .... sorry.

It gets preached, but it's just about the last thing, the 'health' industry wants :

Cuz if you're healthy, they don't get your business....
