So I ordered this beast Sunday and waited very impatiently for that "order shipped" email. It was around 9pm last night when I got it and come to find out that it shipped Wednesday and was due for delivery today. I didn't find out about the whole signing for the package thing until after I placed the order so of course I wasn't going to be home for delivery today. No dice on them just leaving it at the door so I found the post office where it was being held hostage. I was able to get off work a little early and made it to the post office at 455pm with 5 minutes to spare before closing. Such an epic win!

After my first 5 minutes on this thing I was certain I made a wise choice in this device. Love the way it feels and looks.. If only I could have held one before buying my mvp2 and evic.. If more people could hold one and test it out, I think sales would go up even more. It's a tough pill to swallow to invest $200ish on something you have only read about and saw a few videos on

My Davide glassos are amazing and the pt2 is giving me issues. I have a IBtank on the way and some boge slotted cartos on the way to join the fun. I've never tried a carto tank before. Hopefully I like them so I can get some custom tanks going as well.

I know I've read some threads on battery chargers but I can't seem to find them now. I just got the basic $17 charger from provape but wouldn't mind getting a nicer one. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

This community has been the best I have experienced. It's nice to read forums that aren't polluted with a bunch of trolls

Thanks again for all of the info you guys provide

The Pila charger is a good one. There's also the Nitecore ones. You can get them from RTD Vapor. Batteries are a few dollars cheaper there too.

I'm going to get the xtar vp1. Can't go wrong with a display lol. After all of the searching I kept reading horror stories about these batteries... It's a bit concerning seeing a bomb bag to charge batteries in.

I'm assuming that the higher end chargers have the technology to charge safely right? I like to charge my devices overnight when I'm sleeping. Is this safe with these chargers / batteries?

These batteries are driving me crazy... Yesterday I went through 2 18490s and almost a 18650. I hope they break in soon. Maybe my charger stinks? All I want is one 18650 to last me the full day... My battery in my evic lasted me the full day no problem. I don't get it...

I go through 2 1/2 18490s a day. It all depends on how much you vape

Thats sounds about the same for me on my Mini.

What I observed is that I loved the vape on a Provari soooo much that I vape more. Like non-stop. So that explains the high battery charge drainage.

One thing you can do to extend the life of a battery is to charge it before it drains completely. I try to have a battery on charge at all times. When I see one is charged, I change to it and charge the one I just took out of my Provari.

Did you get your new charger yet? It may also help charge/condition your batteries better than the one you have now.

A good indicator to tell if your charger sucks, or blows is to check the voltage of a "fully" charged battery from it. You should see 4.2V with the Cb function on your ProVari.

Although even fresh off of the charger, when tested under load mine usually read 3.9.

I've noticed the same thing. I have the Xtar VP1 charger which has an LCD readout showing voltage and charging status, and often when the charger says it's done (4.2), the ProVari says something less than 4.2.
