^^^^ I'm not going to even try to top that ;)

First session of doing DIY. It was winter and I was using TFA menthol. Well of course it had crystallized. Instead of being patient and warming the bottle gently in warm water, I stuck it in the microwave.

10 seconds later - BOOM! the cap had blown off. My microwave smelt minty fresh for 3 months after that.

So anyway, I mixed my first ever recipe, using 10% of tfa menthol. Tried it, and holy moly was it STRONG. I had another look at ELR's recommended percentages, and realised it was 1%. Not 10%

Considering the fun I had that day, it was a small miracle that I eventually became a competent mixer ;)

Common mistake, lights were turned off and i was watching a movie so yeah that happened hehe

p.s. hand sanitizer is the bottle on the right ;)
I've been around here for a year... that's a new one (and totally understandable considering the situation)
Just have to comment... "peach flavored"... did you mean "peach scented"? I have heard of flavored condoms before but that's a different topic.

The biggest mistake I ever made happened yesterday. My son who is in prison had asked me to disassemble his RDAs so they wouldn't get stuck. I procrastinated in doing that, and yesterday I tried to open an old Paradigm Plasma rda (Does anyone know this rda?).

Well the cap was definitely stuck on the base. Alcohol, hot water, detergent, and finally WD-40 wouldn't budge it. So I resorted to using a screwdriver in the crack and turning it. It seemed to be coming apart, but it was damaging the metal. Stubborn me wouldn't give up and finally it came apart, but to my horror, I broke the base, which apparently has two pieces. It won't go back together, and the cap is still stuck.

So now I owe him an RDA when he gets out. I hope that this doesn't have a lot of sentimental value to him. He always talks about his doge RDA fondly and never mentioned this one. So hopefully it won't be a big blow to him.

One decimal point off... damned math.
Someone posted that they put the flavor they measured in the concentrated nic instead of the bottle they were mixing... at least you didn't do that LOL

He will be exiting PRISON that day. Tell him as you drive him home or whatever. I have a hunch he will take it Just Fine. It's just a hunch but most people exiting prison don't enter into a deep depressive episode over a busted RTA. I get you think he may be, ah, fragile, and he well may but really I think he will be fine, honestly.

No one can top that story and once again I am compelled to note that a) I exist at times to improve the marriages of OTHERS as a lot of dudes have commented on the "patience" of the husband and it is true. But I also like to think I exist to make ANYONE in a bad spot feel better about themselves. I am not talking therapy either, just you know, my life. Etc.

Thanks for that story AngeNZ. I haven't used menthol yet and that's good to know.

You might want to just replace it for him as its a pricey name brand job.. Most places are sold out or otherwise no longer carry it but you can still get it here:

Magma V2 RDA by Paradigm Modz (Authentic)

If it was my kid that's what I'd do if I could afford it.. but I'd ask him if it was authentic or a clone first..

But this is just me... I keep replacing the coffee cup my stepson bought for my husband every time I break it, just because it was a gift and that means something...

Stupid thing costs me 40 dollars every time.... and we are up to the 3rd or 4th generation of it now, but I dont want him to come for a visit and not see that cup... lol.

    Call me weird. Lol..

Take a High resolution picture of the mug in question, and just tape it to the back the cupboard where you have the mugs, might work and he might not even notice :D

P.S. just clicked the link on the Magma...omg!!
    101 bucks? wow...

Haha.. yeah at the price its steep...

Lol, good idea on the coffee cup! my husband just laughs when I break it and at this point I think the cup means more to me.. we've stopped putting it in a microwave though so hopefully it will stop breaking periodically! (Its a handmade cup and not microwave friendly.. but it is a cool cup!)

It is a nice mug...hmm,might be a bit overboard but i would go with this:

    Install this in your home:

Then put in said mug and this person in the safe:

I guarantee your mug will be safe :D

My biggest mistake, past and present, is the need for new gear.
I'm the opposite. Now I have a couple or three atomizers that produce for me an almost perfect vape, I relish not having to be on a constant quest for the right bit of kit. I get also some satisfaction by bringing older shlelved mods back into rotation. My shinyitus and newness fever urges also get taken care of by competition wins. Talking of which I have started re-using a VTC Mini that I won on ECF years ago. I noticed that there is a little ECF branded engraved plate under the battery cover, class. The mod itself is really good condition and going strong considering it's over five years old. Definitely the best single battery box mod I've ever used.
