Received a black & a white Mix 80. Hadn't realized that you could order one actually Mixed. Nice sturdy, well styled mod with plenty of power. Very impressed. Artery is getting better. Did you have a firing delay before update, I haven't updated, but have noticed no delay.

The only vendor I've seen with the mixed option is VapoRider, which is where I got it. The two-tone really looks nice!

I haven’t updated as of yet. I have noticed a slight firing delay, especially in TC mode, but it’s not objectionable. I’ll probably update down the road, but it’s not something I plan on doing right away.

I like how the PMG mode is implemented as a multiplier rather than a discrete wattage setting. While the preheat on sigelei, joyetech and Wismec mods is very useful, I find having it as a multipler is the better way since it’s based off your base wattage, and will automatically adjust when you adjust the base wattage. Hugo has a similar feature on the Hugo 133, but the Mix80 offers more options.

The problem I’m having with PMG is the screen – Artery went for the really, really tiny font to show the multiplier and time slice. It might be ok for younger folks, but it’s just too small for my old eyes.

When you update, the updater will be blocked by Norton or your firewall as containing a trojan. I am assured by Artery it is clean, but it can be scary. I disabled the firewall & ran update without issue. as soon as Norton was re-enabled it quarantined the updater again. Reported to Artery but they do not seem motivated to work with Norton (pay them to keep Norton from flagging it).

Artery is shipping Artery Pro now.

Built in 3,300 mah lipo battery. Very boxy compared to the Mix 80. Mix 80 has been a surprisingly good mod from Artery and the styling, build quality, & battery door were far beyond my expectations. Appears at first glance that the Nugget Pro will be a bit of a let down after Mix 80.

Bruce just sent me a Nugget Pro with the New Mace Tank (not technically available in USA).
