Hi all!!

I just wanted to know i mixed a 26mg menthol from esmokey treats and a 11mg menthol from esmokey treats.. Will I get like a 18mg menthol or somewhere around there?

I ask because I wanted a 18mg menthol from them but all they had was a 26mg and 11mg.. Thanks!!

Btw.. They do have the best menthol I've tried :)

--------------------------------

edit..

Thank you all for your help!.
i found my new all day vape..

so what i tried/did

i tried reducing my menthol 26mg to an 18mg by mixing a 11mg with 26mg.

i got the results i wanted (similar throat hit/head change as a 18mg would give me.

but i wanted to add a hint of vanilla to the mix..

so i got my newly mixed ~18mg and added a 2 - 1 ratio with 18mg vanilla.
(basically 20 drops of vanilla to 10 drops of menthol).

and what i got was a SMOOTH/WET vape from my newly mixed vanimenth (thats what i call my mix :))

i made 2 batches of ~5ml

to one of the i added a drop of menthol juice.. results were way to mentholy.
i also tried to add a menthol drop to vanilla.. it was good but the throat hit wasnt as smooth..

but it was missing something..

so with the other batch (the one without the menthol drop).
i added a few drops of JC artic menthol to add JUST A SUPER TINY HINT of that Jhonson Creek taste (i wanted to add it cuz JC juice is thick and has something in it that makes me salivate for some reason)

so i am very pleased with this mix and thank you all for help another noob out

if you all want to try it..
this mix is REALLY smooth.. yet has a throat hit you can write home about.

you should try it if you think you would like the whole vanilla menthol taste...

now... onto trying to mix all my fruit juices together with menthol to get a ice cold smoothie taste!

If I'm doing my math correctly... (this is for a 20ml batch BTW)

I always set these up as a table before I do the actual math. It just makes my brain handle it better.

Code:
Type ML MG
26mg x 26
11mg 20-x 11
Total 20 18

So...

26x+11(20-x)=20(18)
26x+220-11x=360
15x=140
x=9.33

20-9.33=10.66

So you'll need 9.33ml of 26mg solution and 10.66ml of 11mg solution to make a batch of 20ml of 18mg solution.

please correct me if I'm wrong..

So basically I need 40 - 45 percent of 15ml 26mg and 55 - 60 percent of 15ml 11mg
roughly 6.5ml of 26mg and 7.5ml of 11mg to make a 17-18.5mg 15ml batch of 18mg..

Thanks for the help!!
Straight 26mg was a lil much.. I couldn't vape all day without gettin a headach..

15ml each..

Bur if there's a different mix like 15ml of 11mg and 10ml of 26mg to get a close/around 18mg.. Please do tell..

Thanks!

If you mix all 15 mls together of both and add 11.4 MLs of vg or pg glycerin.. That would make a batch of 18 mg.. altogether.

If you mix 12ml of the 26mg and 9.5 ml of the 11mg.. That would give you 21.5 mls of 18mg.

WOW,
seriously, you guys are amazing..

i tried posting this in another forum, twice, and the member there just ending up fighting with each other on who has more mixing skills. and it spun off to who had better mixing equipment .. i mean really? mixing equipment? really?

but thanks all for your help..

one more question..

lets say i succeed in making a 20 - 30ml batch of 18mg. (which i will now with your help)...

...how many ML would you add to get a SLIGHT vanilla taste/aftertaste..
i have 15ml of 18mg vanilla.. maybe 1- 2?

i know this thread sounds like math class.. but thank you

I don't know exactly how much vanilla you would have to mix. But here is the formula I would use.

Start by setting up a table:
Code:
Type ML MG
26mg x 26
11mg 28-x 11
Van 2 18
Total 30 18
Line 1: x is the unknown amount of the 26mg fluid you need.
Line 2: This is also an unknown amount of 11mg fluid. Since you know how much vanilla you want and the size of your batch, take the size of your batch and subtract the amount of vanilla. For example if you want your batch to have 5ml of vanilla then this would be 25-x.
Line 3: This is the amount of vanilla fluid you want. It may be more, or less, after you experiment to see what tastes right to you.
Line 4: This is the ml and the mg of the batch you want to make.

Now set up your formula by line. 26mg+11mg+Vanilla=Total

You want to multiply then add each line.

x*26=26x
11(28-x)=308-11x
2*18=36

Thus...

26x+308-11x+36

Combine like terms...

15x+344

Now, you want it to = your batch and mg size.

30*18=540

So...

15x+344=540

Subtract the number on the left from both sides to get...

15x=196

Divide both sides by 15...

x=13.06

That is how many ml of the 26mg solution you need. So plug that into your 11mg solution formula from line 2.

28-13.06=14.93

So you'd need 13.06ml of the 26mg solution, 14.93ml of the 11mg solution and the 2ml of your vanilla solution.

Alright, here we go... I cannot promise how the vanilla is going to taste because the concentration of the flavor against all the mixture is going to be extremely low. It will not taste the same as what it is tasting like right now.
Dtermining the concentration by mg/ml of nicotine is as follows:

[ Mg(1) x Ml(1)] + [Mg(2) + Ml(2)] divided by Ml(1) + Ml(2) = New Mg/Ml... and so on.

So,

26 Mg / 15 Ml
11 Mg / 15 Ml
18 Mg / 15 Ml

26 x 15 = 390 825 divided by 55 equals 15 Mgs for the entire 45 Ml
11 x 15 = 165 solution.
18 x 15 = 270
-------------
55 45Ml total 825
