Hello all. So I use ecblend and good life vappr mostly. Usually I do my mixes 12-50/50 ... A friend of mine smokes 18-50/50 . Here's the thing. I'm our of dragons tear (my favorite ejuice) so lately I've been mixing liquids. Right now I have atom bomb from good life vapor , berry creamy from mt Baker vapor ,and sweet tea all mixed in my tank.
Atom bomb and berry creamy are both 12-50\50 mix.. sweet tea is 18-50/50.
Is it harmful to mix liquids? Is it going to make the nicotine dose insanely high?

Yeah are all good, no worries, will have about 14 mg nic in the mixed batch. Only risk you are taking is that it will taste like crap and be unvapeabe to you. other wise, if you like it vape it.

Oh, as a side note, We VAPE we d NOT SMOKE our juice we VAPE it!! Vaping is not smoking.

We age our juice WE do not steep our juice steeping is for tea steeping requires a solid to be put into the fluid :)

I typically mix fruity flavors with other fruity flavors. If it seems like a good idea, it should be. But if it's like one of those super fruity flavors mixed with that other kind of flavor, I don't really know how to describe the other kinds of flavors... maybe they're butterscotchy kind of flavors..? Whatever it is, it's not fruity, and it doesn't mix well with fruity flavors. Just imagine it in your head, and try smelling both flavors one right after the other. If your nose reacts weird to the sudden shift in smell, probably not a good idea to mix.

Sorry. I've been "vaping" for about 5 months now and I haven't touched a cig in 4. I guess I'm still used to the term "smoking"

That's what I was worried about. I use 12 mg juice, and I'm mixing that with 18, that's 30.. lol. I'm like ummmmm... is that how it works? It's actually good tho. It sounds gross, but it's good! I was just making sure I wasn't getting 30 mg of nicotine.

So if I buy say a 15 ml bottle of 12mg juice.. is that 12 mg pr hit?or 12 mg for the whole bottle. It may be a stupid question, but I'm in the dark as to how that works.

Naw you'd end up with around 15 mg or nicotine mixing the two strengths.

The MG level indicated in juice is per/ML. So no, you're not doubling the concentration by adding one to the other.

I've been mixing Orange County Vapors' Dr. Pepper, with Clayton (cheap commercial brand) cherry. Because the Dr. Pepper was just too strong at 24mg. It's incredibly tasty, and doesn't make me nauseous like an uncut 24mg.

Just this morning I mixed custards last stand with strawberry shortcake and cake icing for fun...pretty yummy actually. Have fun with it...however it works for you!!

Wow what's with the harping  ? Mixing lots of different e liquid in a tank can be fun, and sometimes quite disgusting  I keep a bottle of 0 nicotine around, and mix it with my nicotine liquids. I do that mostly around be time. Sleep is good :)

nope the highest it can go is 18 nic.... and thats at 99% 18 1% 12. if you mix the juices at 50/50 you end up with 15nic.

I'm not familiar with these kinds of levels, but I can say this: When you mix any level of nicotine with a juice that has 0 nicotine in it, it cuts your nicotine content in half. So for example: if you mix half and half one juice with 18 nic and the other 0, then you end up with 9 nic

Naw you'd end up with around 15 mg or nicotine mixing the two strengths.

Ohhhhh ok got it. I get it now.. I usually don't mix. The ONLY time I do is when I'm out of what I really like. Since I'm out of dragons tear... I'm stuck mixing what I have left. I know I should just order more... which is what I'm going to do. I just ordered a 50 ml bottle of it today. I'm just waiting for it to come in. Then I have to let it seep\age\sit/get better tasting phase whatever it's called for a few days lol.
My issue is I keep trying flavors. So I've been ordering 5 ml bottles.. well I use the smok tech MBC VA and it holds that whole bottle almost.. it's turning expensive. So I've decided to buy one big bottle of dragons tear and not order anything else for a few weeks.

If you mix 18 with 12 in even amounts, the result would be the average..15mg. I read something in the DIY forum that sounded right when mixing: open all the bottles you are considering mixing, put them together in a group on a table, wave your hand over them so you get a combined scent of them together. Smell good? Then try it! Do it in a small batch to start with, and write down how much of this and that you added...in case you want to repeat it, or adjust it, or NEVER try that again!! Have fun!

Am I correct to think that the ageing is pretty much just giving some time for any alcohol to evaporate off, or is there more too it - I've read someplace that the liquid gets darker, and so this would suggest there's more to it?

Aging (steeping) will let the alcohol (if there is any in the mix) to evaporate, and the flavors to marry with each other. Think of it like a bottle of wine or liquor. The longer it ages the more mellow and flavorful it is. When I get a new juice I usualy let it sit with the cap off for a day for any alcohol to wear off, then cap it and put it in my juice drawer. I have so much juice that it will sit there for a cople of weeks before I get to it.

I call it Auto-Aging!! :vapor:

Ckquatt that's where I want to be I found 3-4 flavors that I REALLY like.
Atom bomb - good like vapors
Eves mistake -good life
Dragons tear - ecblend
Dragons crown- ecblend

If I order big bottles of those. I'll be fine for a while. I can let the one I like the most to sit until it's ready. I never thought to leave the cap off. Do u ever refrigerate them?

I don't know about that so much. I've mixed up a DIY batch that is Vanilla Cupcake and French Vanilla Ice Cream @7.5% flavor combined. In the bottle, it smells great, I almost want to drink it, it smells so good. It's been blending for 7 days now and OMG, it's nasty tasting when vaped.
