mixing my own for the first time.

Got myself some flavor concentrates and pg and vg liquid and am mixing myself for the first time to hopefully save some money.
my favorite ejuice has been killa vanilla from altsmoke in a premade bottle.
however i carnt seem to get that nice vannila flavor from the concentrate i got from vaping zone. it said to ad 2.5% which is where i started but im now at around 10% and still haven't got the nice vanilla flavor that killa vanilla had
any suggestions?

also i wanted to experiment with just vg or just pg however im scared to put just vg in a cartomizer as its so thick i doubt it would work properly. whats the difference between pg and vg? i think one produces more vapor or throat hit or something....?

I've been trying my luck at diy too....and all i learned is that i suck at mixing juice

Hang in there guys. There is a bit of a learning curve to find what you like but once you do, the payoff is great. I am pretty darn sure that Altsmoke is not using the new Chinese concentrated flavoring to make their Killa Vanilla. The Ecigexpress and VZ Vanilla are the same (I have tried both) and they are more of a spicy vanilla that a creamy sweet vanilla. I like it but I am betting that Altsmoke uses TPA/FA or a combo of the two. I have never tried the Killa Vanilla but these are my guesses.

BTW- 10% is too much with the Super Concentrated flavors. When adding flavoring, more is not better and sometimes can be very bad by turning perfumey and gross.

Creamy flavors like Vanilla are especially in need of steep time in order to reach their full potential so don't expect to have full flavor when just mixed.

I think the KV is primarily Capella Vanilla Custard, maybe some other lessor flavors. Never got the graham cracker, but then its going back a couple years since I have vaped KV, so memory might not be so good. I do think it is VC, though. I have tried about every vanilla out there, including extracts, and VC is very unique. That's what I tasted when I got some KV.
