I've been once given the formula for juices to taste almost exactly like a Newport Cigarette. Has anyone ever tried to come up with that? or something similar to it?

If I understand your question properly, you have an ejuice formula which alleges to taste/vape almost the same as analog Newport cigs? To further clarify, this formula will require a NIC base plus PG and or VG plus flavoring. The short answer from my limited experience in DYI ejuice and lots of lurking is that I'm skeptical that any DIY ejuice mix can accurately replicate the taste of any analog. You may get in the ballpark and that may either make you happy or not. However we have the worlds largest gathering of DIY ejuice experts and that would be the place to ask and get the final word. @Johnny - love your post and experience. It's amazing what you can create using Halo juice as a starting point. For others, if your going to due this then as I just discovered lol the NEW juice mix you create should be created in a separate bottle and then fill your carto with your new love juice. Even a few drops of your favorite spike should not go into your carto first. If you due this the wrong way you get pockets of flavor and an inconsistent flavor in your vape. Thank the boys and girls in our DIY forum. Just did this with my Vegas Love Juice Numero Uno which is a mix of Tribeca + Vooooodo Yummmmmy :)

After stuffing my own- with organic, natural tobacco, and having tasted real tobacco, not processed tobacco, I'm not sure one can replicate the taste of cigarettes. After smoking pure tobacco, a cigarette tasted like chemicals to me. As we don't know exactly what is put into cigarettes, replicating the flavor would be tough, especially since some menthols got their taste from the filter material. I'll wager most who smoked menthol cigarettes probably don't really know what menthol really tastes like, hence why many can't find an e-liquid to match the cigarette flavor they liked.
