I have an "improved" Sig 8 with brass contacts and caps... the button is nice; round fat button, but I'm gettin hot button syndrome up the ying yang....

So yeah....I got another one The coupon code "TUC" worked for -$6.00(10% off I guess) at Mountain Oak Vapors so it was $53.99 ($57.08 after shipping). I just couldn't stop myself...it's just too good of a deal. I just have to remind myself that I used to spend around 180 bucks a month on cigarettes so I don't feel too guilty about it......


I think I may sell my gold top caps in the classifieds. I don't ever plan on using them so I don't see why not. Don't know if anybody would want them for cheep but I might as well try.

Well it was a good price to begin with, then a good discount, 10% with TUC, so I went for it and got a second one too; I foound it iresistable. I've got two Oddysius clones, and something tells me I may end up with an Ithika clone. So I just rationalized myself right into getting another MKB-TS. For what I'm getting for the price, definately worth it. So I'm with you Slartibartfast, considering what I used to spend on cigarettes, I don't feel too guilty about it....

nope, but that's the rba im running on mine. it hits harder than my gg stealth with a '350 in the mkb ts. these really are a great mod after doing a little modding to it.

I was curious , haven't seen what its actually putting out once there is a load on it , I think I'm gonna do that tonight before I do any modding to this ! I'm surprised nobody tested this already lol

not sure how thats done other than to put the meter on it and then is shows the batt voltage like any other device would no?
I use an inline meter and take that batt voltage and subtract the under load measurement.
I know its trickier than that because depending on what resistance your test atomizer is at it will show a different v drop. i.e. if you use a super low resistance the drop will be more significant than say a 1.5 ohm atty.

Anyone try using magnets in the button instead of the spring? I know there are 6mm donut magnets for the gg buttons... is the mkb button housing a 6mm ID as well?

I was gonna stick my volt meter on the mkb-ts as is, then stick my aga-t2 on the top of the volt meter and see what its showing, then maybe mess with the firing pin and go from there ? Im not able to get the stealth cap cause its out of stock so maybe the stealth cap might be better/worse since there is no adapters ? My AGA T2 is at 0.8 ohm , I will do it here in a bit and let everyone know , I will do one with the spring and one without the spring to see if it makes a big difference, so far my mkb-ts is working great, a little heat on the button if I chain vape but other than that flawless.

I want to pick one of these bad boys up but there's so much info out there it's overwhelming at times. Seems there's problems with the switches and the adapters not letting Oddy's and other atty's sit flush or the adapters are causing shorts. There's one piece adapters, two piece adapters... my head is melting. I'm not one who's super inclined to mod things but I really want to pick one of these up.

The one at SVC seems to come with a one piece adapter. I've heard complaints about the post not being adjustable like an original GGTS adapter, is this one adjustable? Adapter for MKB-TS APV

The one from MOV seems to come with two adapters. I would assume these are not adjustable so there may be gaps and not able to flush mount? MOV MKB-TS (GGTS Clone)

I do have a Nautilus already and have a Hercules ordered. I may order a GGTS base for the Nautilus and I think the Hercules already has one built into the unit, I think?

I got mine from mov, came with a 510 ego/ shorty adapter, its flush... maybee a 1/16" gap.... but doesnt matter cause im using the ggts base.

If you have a term already just get the mkb and a ggts base... lets you use the air control, you loose the 510 connection for the rock solid gg threading, and its seamless and matches the term flawlessly.

With this combo I couldn't believe the vapor production from a non vv/vw setup

Did you get your bases from COV? Did they have an o-ring included?

Yep... just got it from cov the other day.... had o-ring and was ready to go.... definitely worth the $18 for the airflow and better connection.... slap it on a mkb and youll be very happy.

This is my first experience with a gg or clone and can see my provari getting neglected from here on out ;-)

Yeah, that is what I want to do as well. I need to get my ohms around 1.0 on my Nautilus to to use on my mechs though, anything above that and I don't feel a satisfying vape for my tastes. I'll probably get the bases if I order this mod but I am hoping to make other att's I have like the RSST and AGA's to sit flush with whatever connectors come with the device. Looking on the Vapor Freak site it looks like they have the same exact mod going by the name of Smyrna 1.

Gotchya.... ya the adapters from mov make it sit a little above but think yo u can just remove the gold ring and have it sit flush. I think stormys has a flush single piece adapter too

For Terminator ( or other large atomizers ) with 510 use only the Ego adapter and leave off the gold cap, sits flush, air control work almost perfect.(Gen"s excluded for the air control, DUH)
But GGTS base is the way to fly.

I agree with dw....hard to beat the ggts oddy base.

There are probably some small variations in the different "brands" of Ego adapters.

I would like to do this too but I don't think the magnets people use in the GG switch will fit just as the spring is not interchangable. I didn't understand how it would work when I first heard about it because the spring is part of the connection but I guess the magnets are nickel plated or something like that.
