MOD base with potential

hiya guys , just sharing my thoughts , bought one of these today

AA and AAA Battery Charger > Maplin

looks like a great modding base , like a posh nicostick. has mini-usb so pass-through potential , has an LED which will be replaced buy the atomizer , and has a tactile switch for the LED AND a main kill switch.

Also has a little battery adaptor so it can take a 10440 or 14500 size cells.

cant wait to get this thing apart and start fiddling . Will post when complete

Now that is going to make one fine looking PV. I can't wait to see it. I take it the original device was supposed to charge NiMH batteries. The packaging says it will charge other stuff. Does the power for charging other stuff come from the NiMH batteries or from the USB? You've got my mind whirring now.

ohh , looky see , I've stirred a hornets nest of itchy mod fingers lol

the original use for the device is a solar powered charger. The box houses the batteries to be charged , then you Can either plug a usb into this box and charge or use a seperate solar panel and plug that in to charge the batteries.

The packaging doesn't explain an awfull lot , but im guessing you can also use the box like a PCC for other devices.
