So I have had my smok Mag 225w for about 3 weeks now, it's worked beautifully up until this morning. I try turning it on today and nothing, swap batteries, click five times, still nothing. I've gone as far as plugging it in to see if it needed a firmware update, and yet again nothing at all happened. I don't know if anyone else has this mod, it's relatively new, or has had this issue with it but I'm really hoping my mod didn't just die. Any relevant feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I played around with my Mag a bit and checked the manual. I could not find any stealth mode for it, perhaps setting the screen time to 0 if it even goes that low? Not sure I want to try it with mine and end up in the same boat.....not yet anyway. I take it not only the screen is out, but it does not fire?

Only thing I noticed is the tiny, retractable pin sticking out from the mod on the screen side that makes contact with the base of the battery "cartridge" that I think completes the circuit. I just press that together until it clicks/locks into place, but if you tend to slap it hard like I have seen in a couple videos, could that pin have jammed up into the mod?

Just fishing here, but will be following!

Another day another Smok product. They look cool, if they could just make them work they'd be great. Warranty I find the company will just pretend to not understand english well enough to help you till you give up or the warranty runs out. I find large well known online vendors easier to deal with. B&M can't afford to replace all the broken junk they get and SMOK won't help them either.

Thanks again for the replies guys, but it does in fact seem dead. No screen will pop up even after the three clicks. I'm gonna get in contact with Smok and see what I can do from there.
Welcome and glad you joined.
Sounds like the best plan, wishing you luck.

Smok is getting out of control with seemingly a new mod a day, i think QC is the last thing on their mind
They're not alone. Lol
My Captain, in TC mode last nite instantly fired to 420f and my single coil build caught on fire while I was inhaling.

Actually I've been hearing a lot less complaints about smok lately, or so it seems to me. QC is a process, and sometimes a very efficient process, but I'm not certain I can think of any car or electronics manufacturer who hasn't had problems, from time to time. My second new car was a Hyundai, and it was a total lemon, back when it was "So great and the newest and best thing."

It was the kind of lemon you couldn't do much about as it was always breaking down for different reasons, and the lemon laws in my state at the time required 3x for the SAME problem. I wound up trading it in for ANOTHER Hyundai, which had over 250K on it before some twit totaled it by failing to stop at a red light and trying to evade her lack of license/insurance by heading off to the reservation which was about 20 feet away. I'm super glad that she was halted by onlookers and that her parents actually had insurance.

Just sayin'.
