I would only consider an "auto or bottom feed" mod - the REO, the REO mIni, the Phidias, or the Journyman - great battery life and you get rid of the cartridge. Any of them, with the proper adapter, will work well with almost any atty. I use 510 and LR510 attys on all of my mods. I early on bought a Sparkplug SP2 and a Screwdriver MKII, both good working mods with long battery life, but you still have to use carts or cartomizers and deal with refilling them and carrying bottles of juice around, as well as having access to paper towels to clean up any mess. They are now relegated to my spare parts box.

You would be better off to order the Journeyman and wait the 10 days or so to get it (generally not that long). They are handcrafted, functional, well designed, and beautiful. I would also recommend spending the extra $5.00 and to get it with the 6ml bottle. With that, and the larger battery that it already uses, you can go 2 days without adding juice or worrying about charging the battery. You won't regret it, I promise. - Some might suggest the WetBox, but, even though it is much cheaper, stick with the Journeyman. With the WetBox, you still have to use a cartomizer, and it has a smaller battery.

If you check the various threads on ECF (just type WetBox into the search engine here on the forum), you'll see that it has very mixed reviews and comments by users. It is tempting because of the cheap price when compared to the others, but there is a reason for that. I have a friend that bought 2 of them, and within a few weeks neither were working properly. Spend the extra money and save yourself a lot of aggravation, get a Journeyman, REO, or Phidias.

The WetBox is a good value for an entry-level juice feeder mod. Some folks have had switch problems - I've had mine for 3 months and it's been fine, other than needing cleaning from time to time. Some leakage can occur, which can gunk up the switches. I solved that problem by using a small piece of paper towel as a gasket over the needle assembly - it absorbs any juice that might run back down the needle, and I just replace it when I refill the bottle. If you have extra bottles/needle assemblies, changing flavors is a breeze.

I decided I liked the juice-feeder concept, and wanted something more robust, so I just got a REO Mini. It is only slightly larger than the WetBox and is built like a tank. It is all mechanical, so there's no risk of a switch burning out. It has a native 510 connection and can use cartomizers, but I haven't tried that yet. I expect these will become easier to get as soon as production ramps up.

just wondering why you prefer the journeyman over the ali'i?
