I continue to play with the blue foam mod. Thought of something new and couldn't find anything like it so thought I'd post.

The last mod I tried was taking a nearly square piece of blue foam and rolling around a toothpick and then using tweezers to insert into cart. It held lots fluid, but after vaping for a while it still continued to hold fluid rather than wick very much. Was adding about 8 drops each time flavor and vapor weakened to the point it wasn't very enjoyable.
What I've been trying a few hours now is to cut a piece about 1.5 times as wide as the wide part of the cartridge mouth and just a little taller than the depth of the cartridge (Note: I've also been trimming the mouth of the cart about an 1/8th inch - seems to help keep it from burning).
Before inserting into cartridge I take my universal cart tool (paper clip unbent and shaped to make a T pin) and make a hole from top to bottom (length wise - short edge to short edge) in the middle of the foam. If it comes through the side I just pull back a little, realign, and continue down until I reach the bottom.
Then I squeeze the long edge together and use the tweezers to guide into cartridge - holding the foam in place at the top, I release the tweezers and pull them out slowly. I usually have a little extra foam at the top of the cart - pull foam out a hair, trim with scissors and push back into cart until just a hair under level.
I've found I can put a lot of juice in this way but am most successful using about 15 drops - any more and I flood or get some juice in mouth on the inhale. I've smoked two carts down in about 3 hours and have refilled them with 11 & 12 drops respectively. No flooding in atty or mouth. Thought I'd share it.
