So admittedly I dont know if this counts as m
odding when people are building actual boxes to fit atomized and house batteries from scratch but what's everyone think about this addition 20190829_074111.jpg 20190829_080051.jpg 20190829_080119.jpg 20190829_080121.jpg its a new use for something I dont use anymore the top to the tank of my evod 2 built by aspire a just kinda screwed it into the wide gauge tip of my baby beast sub ohm tank I'm using the .15 mesh coils and tightening the draw and I find that I can get quite lot of flavorful vapor at 40 watts and 2.70v set to hard hit on my aspire skystar

Curious what anyone might think of this and if anyone maybe has some other easy DIY flavour chase inovations

Now I'm unable to blame the typo on auto correct which is slightly embarrassing "*modding" was the intended word but I digress
Oh it totally looks like autocorrect from here now that the correct term is in place. It’s a persistent little pest.

Anyway you’re talking about the long drip tip? I like long drip tips in some situations. Can cool the vape and reduces spitting.

“Long got autocorrected into “omg” and reduces got autocorrected into reduce on this post btw

20190829_074111.jpg 20190829_080051.jpg 20190829_080121.jpg So anyone have any thoughts about this I've got my aspire skystar set at 40watts and 2.70v. In the settings I have 3 options hard, normal, soft, I'm set at hard 15670868628072789086479553463218.jpg and as you can see I've attached my aspire tank top cap from my evod 2 battery onto the wide gauge tip for my baby beast tank by smok. I've got the .15 mesh coil in and the draw tightened and I've noticed I can get quite a lot of vapor and a decent amount of flavor with the tank like this.

Have any of you done anything similar to this. Do any of you hav any thoughts on how to improve this or some other way to make this tank more flavor productive the way I have made it or any other way all input welcome. Thanks to anyone who has something productive to say.

Have you seen anyone reuse the parts from their first vape pen in this way or at all

Yep. Me. Pretty much that way in fact. Then I found some churchwarden stems on fasttech a while back
Oh cool did you like it I noticed this has a quit right draw but I like that it has an unintended plus to it if I want to widen the gauge it's as easy as uncapping the lip which to me seems pretty cool

Interesting. It’s effectively 810-510 variable. When I did it it was all 510 and I was using cigalike parts

Personally I can't see how the flavor would be improved more so than just using a 510 dt adapter. As Bad commented if it works for you run with it. Run carefully through, wouldn't want to poke an eye out.
The more distance you can create from the coil to your lips, will marginally cool the vapor. OP may sense that he is getting more flavor with the "cooler" vape. There is probably a reason why many tobacco pipes had a long stem.

Back in the day I experimented with some of the longer drip tips, and got a cooler and possibly "smoother" vape. I was careful and never poked my eye out. ;)
