Mods and nicotine strength- which is it?

I'm talking specifically about a protege here, but I'm assuming it applies to any mod of higher than stock voltage. I'll be upfront here, I'm clueless. I always assumed that mods, my protege, would give me higher nicotine per puff than a stock because of more vapor, more vapor in lungs, more nicotine in vapor, etc. Now I read that the higher voltage "kills" some of the nicotine and actually gives you less of the nic in the juice. So, Which is it? Do I get more of the nicotine than a stock battery and atomizer, or less? Or is it roughly the same, you get what's in the juice and that's what you get no matter what? Trying to keep better track of my nic intake, so I was wondering. Thanks!

The answer right now is we, as a community, do not know. But their are some very interesting experiments being performed by exogenesis that should shed some light on this question and others.

I doubt anyone can answer that question yet, however, your protege operates at the same voltage as a stock battery so there shouldn't be much difference.

He's right 3.7 volts with a standard 510 battery (fully charged) with feel just like a Protege or lil chuck or any other PV still running at 3.7- The Protege or lil chuck will stay consistance for much longer, that is to say the voltage will not drop as fast because the MAH is higher, so that's better, but they are still not High Voltage Mods

At High Voltage 5 volts and Up (personally I don't go over 5.02) you can really feel the nicotine. Immediately people notice they either need to hit there PV much less often.

or if like many your also hooked on the Act of smoking or now vaping then you will need to lower the Nic level so you can continue to vape as much as you did with a higher Mg. Nic. level.

i agree with robert... it wasn't until i got my 6v magnum mod that i was satisfied by even 36mg liquid.

i had been using a true 5v usb passthru and still smoked a few analogs each day.

so in my experience, even if more nic is being burned by the hotter atty, i still believe that more nic is making it to my bloodstream by using a 6v mod.

I believe Drew from Nhaler has studied this, may want to PM him for more info. He sells HV liquids, bc his testing showed u absorb more at HV, therefore he adds a tad of VG and lowers the nic levels and sells his HVjuice at 12mg only.....
