There is no one right or wrong way to go.

I prefer 50/50, especially when vaping at high wattage. Higher VG coats my lungs with phlegm which I have to cough to rid myself of it.

If I am ordering from a juice supplier who blends on demand, higher VG juice will need to be steeped/aged longer than lower VG juice.

Thanks. I usually go with 50/50 as well but I was curious if the higher VG still has good flavor. Yeah the steeping is something I try to minimize as much as possible.

I sometimes buy One Hit Wonders Muffin Man (80vg/20pg) and since it's not mixed on demand, the juice tastes great FOOB. No need to me to steep/age.

I'm trying to find the right P/G V/G liquid ratio for my Mod. I'm hearing higher VG is the way to go but I'm concerned with the flavor of the liquid. With variable voltage and wattage devices, will the liquid still be flavorful with a higher VG? Thanks guys and vape on!

just start at 50/50

pg wicks better and vg gives more fog.
so if you find you need better wicking , increase the pg;
if wicking is fine and you want more cloud, increase the vg;

having variable voltage and wattage available just means you can adjust the voltage or wattage

Oh really, what's the website?
I wait for it to go one sale at one of these online suppliers (subscribe to their newsletters) I paid $40 the last time I ordered from EJuices.
All great places to shop when looking to pick up flavors from multiple high quality vendor lines of juice.

When I'm not DIYing, Ahlusion is my go-to vendor for juice. Ahlusion does fruit & tea vapes very well. They are the only line of juice I have found that I love more than 2-3 of their offerings. Right now I vaping some of their Lemon Vanilla Cake.

Fan Club here on ECF: Ahlusion LLC Chat Thread. Lots of members (all enablers, every last one of them) who would be more than happy to give you recommendations based on your preferences. For every $20 you spend (after sale price/taxes/shipping) you can request a free 10ml sample. Ahlusion LLC - Sample Policy

Three week after you receive your order you will receive a 15% coupon code that you can use on your next order. If they are running a sale you can stack your coupon on top of whatever the current sale discount is.

I also LOVE Omega Vapes Breeze (peach/cantaloupe blend), Cosmic Fogs Milk & Honey & Ripe Vapes Pear Almond.

Regarding mods/tanks: I often use vapeCrawler to see who has the best pricing. If I only want to see suppliers from the USA I make sure USA is "green" and all the others are "gray". If you go down to the very bottom of the page you can see all the vaping websites vapeCrawler searches.

Ok thanks. Is there an in between? I'm basically most concerned with getting the best flavor possible but I also like the idea of thicker clouds. The 50/50 has been good with the flavor aspect but the clouds are smaller than I originally anticipated.

well try some 40/60 or 30/70

higher wattage setups will produce more cloud.

actually your mod doesnt care what ratio of PG/VG it is... but your atty might depending on the wick design. :) More importantly, what really counts is if you like the flavor... if your atty wants 100 PG and you dont like 100PG...then what? ;)
Yeah, I understand. Taste is subjective and I'm still in the beginning stages of finding the wattage, nicotine levels, and PG/VG that works for me. Thank you very much for your thoughts.

I'm assuming atty is atomizer right?
yes, atty is atomizer. Some coil heads don't wick thick juices well. If you vape them hard, you'll get dry hits because the wick didn't have time to saturate between hits. So, you need enough PG to thin the juice so the tank works (or a different tank). Once that's done, the ratio is a preference issue. PG carries the flavor and gives throat hit. VG makes the thick white vapor. You havevto find your own sweet spot, it's different for everybody. Welcome to the board.

Two reasons to go high VG.

1. Some people have an allergy to PG

2. VG causes clouds and yes you can have good flavors with high VG juices. I vape all the time with 70%VG/30%PG.

I get the same problem, except even worse; so I have to use 84%-85% PG.

When I first started vaping, the Virginia I used, from MyFreedomSmokes, went out of stock in the PG blend I always got, so I got some of the VG blend. The taste, the flavor, was pretty similar, except totally lacking in throat hit, and it made me feel I had a hairball I couldn't cough up.
