Moisture behind the screen in my evic

Here is a picture of my problem.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Has anyone figured out a fix?
I tied putting it in a bag with some silica gel but that does not seem to work.

Nothing "happened", that's the weird thing. I had had it about three days when the condensation showed up and it has been there for about a week and a half. SUCKS!

did you placed it in a humid environment?
also the evic contains a small battery inside the head to keep the settings when the main battery is off. could it be the small battery has popped inside?

eVic is not sealed - Switch/Rocker - so it must be getting exposed to High humidity somehow.

Fill a baggy with dried rice - place the head in the bag for a few days.

NO BATTERY IN THE HEAD -sheesh

I've used a bag of rice before with cell phones. I left them in there for several days and it worked like a charm.

Every night I put it in a bag with several packets of Silica gel (like you get with shoes,etc.) It seemed to clear up a little bit after the first few days but now, nothing.
Maybe I'll try the rice.
I'm amazed that this hasn't happened to anyone else.
I haven't done anything out of the ordinary to the unit!

I contacted the vendor that I purchased the the unit from. He told me that another customer also had the same issue. He has contacted joyetech and is waiting for a response. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Samething happened to my brothers evic. Then by accident the head popped off so while off he cleared it with q tips. The head between the top of the display and the silver part the cone screws on is just pushed together but there are 2 wires that attach to them. He had it replaced and his new one popped off as well and broke the wires loose so we had to solder them back. I see it as a flaw that joyetech needs to fix.

Don't let him fool you. There is a thin epoxy seal top and bottom of the head to hold the end caps in place. Something has to Jar the device hard to break that seal.

I have (2) eVic 2 months old now and used daily. Dropped, fallen over several times each and still rock solid.

This def sounds like a concern for me especially living here with super high Florida humidity during the summer months.

Don't get to worried. Mine goes in/out of freezing cold quite a bit and I have not seen anything to be concerned about.
