Bonefide no more :(

Background - I am currently fostering 2 rescues (Brussels griffons)...one normal toy dog size and one huge one (knee high!). Both are good little dogs and will find good homes when they're ready to go.

I just received my new 5 box mod custom desk caddy and was so thrilled to put my stuff in it. I put my Reos, extra attys, drip tips and wicking stuff in it. Looked good. Later I came back to the room and found my stuff disturbed...one atty tipped over and my random segmented wood tip GONE!!! Very sad day :(

I guess the big rescue boy, Cosmo, decided he liked it. I've searched everywhere and haven't found it. I'm afraid he ate it. It may "come out in the wash" so to speak but I don't think I could ever make it clean enough to use if that's the case. In the meantime I will keep searching... Some of the adventures of fostering. Not my first rodeo.

Anyway here's the caddy...see all those empty DT holes? They'll stay empty until Cosmo is gone.

Splat, I knew it was you who snagged the Starburst.......There was a "blip" in my brain when I wrote that post. I wound up getting Krazy Quilt #2 as Kayte had another one in the shop ready for Doug's finishing touch. Vaping on it right now and am totally enamored of this tip! My next clay one has got to be the Starburst though, you fast fingered person you! :p

Dang, LindaMck! That su----such a bummer! On the other hand, your caddy looks wonderful. :thumb:

Funny you should say that Momma..I thought of you when I was on the site yesterday..I was like,...I wished I could get her one of those. So YAAAAAAY! :) :) :)

Awww....bless your sweet pea pickin soul [emoji4] It will be exciting to see which one "I" get. LOL there was no way I could have swung it doing it myself. We will be getting busy yet again in just a bit. [emoji12]

And I little secret, I have already acquired one of the John Deere green and yellow spectraply Woodvils from the person whom sent Rob the wood. Havent gotten it yet. Am hoping that Kayte and Doug can make me a matchy matchy tip for it.

Oh Linda, I can't even imagine how you must feel but I can see my little Ellie doing something like that, with her you have to keep everything put up.I think at the least I'd cry my eyes out.

Chooch know just what you mean, after I got over the shock of just how amazing Starburst is it went on the new Reo and bin in use ever since, totally in love with it.I do hope Kayte can come up with something like this again, what an amazing piece of art work.:hubba::wub:

I hope your right about my fast fingers for the Woodville's today, I mean I had some practice in the shootouts here but something tells me this is the big leagues.

Hi all! You'll all have an advantage on me for the Woodvil sale. It's going to be difficult to snag one while traveling. If we're in one place at that time, I may try. I saw many I liked....don't need....just like. I'm not nearly as quick on the draw on an iPad as I am a computer and Rob has taken the site down now. I'm not sure I even know my username and password. Anyone know if it's your email address?

Linda - that tip has to be somewhere. I can't imagine a dog eating it. Hope you find it. LOVE your stand!!!

KS - good job on the rescue of the mastiff! I love my little rescue babies. We've fostered many old ones that had to live with us until the end. Now, the old ones I have we adopted as long as 15 years ago. Even the lil spoiled one that flies with us to CO is a rescue. Those dogs are somehow always grateful and I'd say George just got REAL lucky!!!

Thanks Splat. I don't log in there often enough to remember. Looks like we will be at the house at 3pm Mountain time so I may give it my best shot.

I think I'm glad I have no idea what sale is going on. I sweat bullets just hitting the button for a couple of isticks this morning. :danger: Some things are better not knowing about. lol! Good luck!

I hope your tip is just buried in the laundry. That's what my pups tend to do with anything they can pick up.

Good Morning Mountaineers! I have the best news EVER!
Troy said 'George'(Troy named the big guy) can STAY!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:{one for each of our family members:D}
It's crazy at the vet's this morning she says, but they will take us as a walk in after 1 p.m.!
Wish us luck. And thanks for all the kind words.
p.s. it's woodvil sale day!!!:w00t:
YES! I was hoping it would turn out that way. :D
Hi all. thank you for the concern Kayte. Have been getting a bit more sleep so grabbing it when I can!! Also been researching how best to help Jason as there are major changes here in the UK with help for people with disabilities to get assistance to live as independently as possible. Times have been hard here for some people and there is a lot of misinformation thrown around regarding people scamming to get help. The few that do make it bad for everyone else who doesn't. I really must not get on my soap box here its not fair on you guys especially when the whole world has their fair share of worries!!! Kayte and Doug your tips continue to give us much joy. :)Love to you all on here.
Glad to hear you've been able to get some much needed sleep.
Hope you're able to get exactly what you and Jason need. Such a shame that scammers have to make everything difficult.
By the way - we're all allowed to soap-box now and then! ;)
Well welcome to the mountain roxynoodle...You sure will fit right in here.

I'm really the only one that has to be hit over the head with Kaytes mod every now and then...the rest are pretty tame.

Just have to post this animated Van Gogh's video..Awesome:

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing it.
Kayte will like this one Chooch:

 Yep. I did. I love ducks and really miss mine!
Chooch I'm the one with the Starburst and yes it came in and it is just beyond words, Ill try and take a picture later, I'm to nervous right now.

I keep going back and forth those Woodville pages and now Moma comes along and throws out a word like plunger door  what the heck is a plunger door.
That's what I was wondering! Hadn't heard 'plunger door' before. (Or paid no attention. ;) )

Very happy to hear the clay tips arrived and you and chooch are enjoying them! :)

Glad you found a volunteer to snag you one! And what an exciting secret! We'll do our best to make a match for you. :)

Time for me to prep the kitchen for painting again. Just part of one wall this time. See you all later!

Chooch, I was thinking my tip grabbing should have warmed me up for this battle but honestly, I wasn't as prepared as I would have been if I'd been home. I would have known how to log in for one thing and I would not just have had my mod number but also the pages they were on. Anyway, the blood wood was one of the ones I liked with the Birdseye door. My mini woodvil is the opposite with a light body and Ebony door.

Chooch there is still a really good selection available and the craziness has settled down , so people that are not as quick on the trigger can still get one.Rob had taken the site down for 3 hours so when 5 o'clock rolled around all hell broke loose.
Seeing the choice Mz.Cruzer and I made we would have gotten one even now.
