We're headed up to dad's this morning so no lazing around here either

An all night "pouring cats & dogs", thundering, lightning. Right now down to normal. Our "wet weather" creek can be now used for "shooting the rapids." Hope it's clear there for your drive.

Oh the bright side... I actually got a full nights sleep last night! I figure that's 'announcement worthy' since it's the first I've had in... gosh... a year or more? It would be pretty neat if I could make it two in a row.

Chooch... what time are we hitting the rapids? Should we all bring our own life jackets?

I'll have tips this evening! YAY! And man-oh-man are they niiiiice.

Ha! Kayte, maybe rather than rapids should have used a canyon flash flood picture. You know, nothing but dirt there, then enough water to drown you if caught, then a littlle while later nothing there again. Like turning on and off a fire hose!

It would be neato if you could squeak another full night of sleep. When they get rare as hen's teeth, makes you remember when young and how oblivious we were to our good fortune.

Now to wait to see what you did with the new experiments!

Hello Mountaineers! Thank you Kayte & Doug for thered/gold and ebony tip..it is lovely. I will get a pic soon of it atop it's new home. I am sorry to read about Carter, and send good energy to him to be well!
Hope the rain has let up some chooch.
When I have some time later I have something wonderful to show you. My sweet Troy bought me a brand new guitar today, as I was having a hard time playing a couple of the others that are a bit large and heavy for me. This one fits me perfectly, and she's a beauty.

Just wanted to drop in and say hello, haven't been ignoring all of you, but been in a rut lately. My father passed away a few weeks ago, and the numb is just starting to ease up. My kids did better with it than I thought they would, we all were there when his time came. He made it to 84, and had a good life. Last time we spoke, was a phone call that lasted 1.5hrs.

So I'll be back soon.
