Another one of my fave bands... at least up until the 'Thick as a Brick' LP... they never could top that, IMHO
(check out the chicks 'groovin' in front of the stage... ha!)

The bassist, Glenn Cornick, left the band in 1970 and I saw him later playing in another band called Wild Turkey... who were 3rd bill on a line-up that had Black Sabbath headlining, and Yes as the 2nd act... Go figure??

And sadly... in the very late 70's, I saw him playing with a New Wave band at one of the local watering holes in the little beach town I lived in... they had 2 female players/singers that one of the waitresses nicknamed 'the whores from outerspace'...

Another Jethro Tull connection here... this band was formed by the original lead guitarist, Mick Abrahams,
who left shortly after Tull's 1st album was released.

And their 1st album cover was probably the best one out of the whole Decade... :D

If you want to have your videos show up with the screen in your posts, enter the URL of the page in the box/window that opens when you click on the little icon that looks like a Filmstrip... it is the last one in the group of the text options... :D

Also, just a reminder for everyone... :)

The rules are simple:
1) Share some of your favorite music from the 60's and 70's. (That'll be so far-out man! ;) )
2) You can post as many as you like, but not one right after another. Gotta give everyone a chance.

Thanks SpaceKitty! How does that look? It's just the URL on my end. Someone told me about the filmstrip. I forget. :D Lol

It should come out looking like this... (without the spaces)

[ video ] URL [ /video ]

And then it will show up like this:

Two years before Woodstock, the West Coast had the Monterey Pop Festival in CA... and this is probably my all-time favorite song from these guys!!!

The version of the single that was played on the radio back then was censored for having the word "damn" in it... LOL!!

I had no idea that Bloodwyn Pig had a Jethro Tull connection. :toast:
Here's a classic for ya'

P.S. My fantasy dream job would be to create vapes that captured some of the iconic atmospheres/music. Yeah ....
