Great song, but I was wondering what the picture of the car had to do with it... :?: Who knows??

SK: I don't know. It is the only version of an MP3 that I purchased, a long time ago, and I feel it is the best entry of "Sweet Jane" and one of the best live recordings I've heard. I'm not sure but I think it was recorded in NYC. I was willing to sacrifice the disappointing visuals for the enhanced audio! (Tweet -not the electronic kind either!):)

this was one of my favorites growing up, my mom had a mustang that she called "sally" so the song was an instant hit for me at like 4-YO lol.

This song is a little too old to fit the category here, but this is a great version... and it might just be the reason your Mom called her car "Sally"... :D

(I take that back... Mustangs were from the 60's... lol)

i had a little red fire truck she had got me and it had a little radio in it(supposed to look like a cb radio) and every time i turned it on it played "my song" apparently the song was very popular at the time but one day i turned it on and it was playing a different song i cried and cried that it was broken for hours lol.

This song got a whole new life on the Fox cartoon show "Family Guy"... :D LOL!!
(great clip from American Bandstand, with an interview afterwards)

"Surfin' Bird" is a song performed by American surf rock band The Trashmen. It is a combination of two R&B hits by The Rivingtons, "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow" and "The Bird's the Word" and was released in 1963, along with an album of the same name, becoming popular in the Vietnam war era.
