Does anybody remember the TV show "The Mothers'-in-Law"??
I never watched it, but ya gotta love the 60's shows with bands like this on them... ;)

The Seeds played at one of our HS dances a couple years after this was filmed...
I used to LOVE the band, but they were horrible Live!! :?:

I was listening to The Mothers of Invention when all of my friends were into The Monkees, and never could stand their TV show, so I didn't get to see this clip until many years later... Classic! FZ!! :D

The bit about 'playing the car' is a joke/reference to when a very young Zappa was on the Steve Allen Show and played a bicycle... literally!!

Flash forward to the early 70's...
Genesis was not the kind of band they usually had on The Midnight Special, and the 2 songs they did took up almost 1/2 of the show!!

I got to see them around this same time at the same auditorium where I had seen Pink Floyd a few years earlier... :D (and they let Phil Collins get up from his drums to sing ONE song... Big Mistake... LOL!!)
