Star Tip - Yellow/gold stars and ribbon on stark white background. Goes on any colored glassed tank on any color mod and will be my favorite tip always because of what it means to my heart.

You see, I got this yesterday not knowing it was coming as a precious gift from all my Molehill Mountain compatriots for allowing Dimi "The Vapin Greek" to interview me......on film! You can view this interview on Page 583 or 585 on Molehill Mountain Drip Tips thread.

We had fun claiming my stardom and putting a homemade star on my bathroom door. :p I love the gentle ribbing and teasing I get over there besides the gorgeous drip tips Kayte and Doug make. :D

Time passes and things settle down. Had some wonderful laughs to share with hubby. THEN out of the blue this tip arrives! I am flabbergasted! I am floored! They all got together and chipped in to have this tip made for me!.......My heart aches it's so full; and at Katdarling's suggestion, will be waving, twisting and turning maybe in some kind of an awkward position so that you can see all sides of it!!! It's got "Hollywood" printed on the opposite side!

I saw that video a while back and you did an awesome job expressing yourself on it! You definitely deserve this tip and I think it's so awesome that they did this for you! Way to go to all the Molehill Mountaineers! :toast:

Punch on Ice - The picture shows on my screen more of an orange red, but when in hand actually is cherry red with peralized white (ice cubes) that glisten. Put it on a red tank on a white mod and it's a summer time punch! On the other hand, it does remind me of one of those popular hard candies.....Watermelon, I think. :D

I don't even have an MHM drip tip yet, but I still dig this thread every time I open it.

Next on my immediate "to-purchase" list is a KF clone. (I need a topper worthy of my eVic-S.) Once I have that, then I'm going tip shopping.

Now, I really don't like metal drip tips. I don't like too cold of a material touching my lips when I'm vaping. I can't explain it - it just seems unnatural to me. And yes, it's only cold for the first couple of draws. Then the combination of my lips and the atomizer heat it up. I still don't like them, though. Delrin (acetal resin) and basic, (what seems like) ABS plastic are the ones I've come to like the most.

So I'm wondering... are the MHM tips acrylic? Glass? Something else? And how cold are they after they've been sitting for, say, half an hour?

Molehill DT's are either Acrylic or wood, sometime's a combination of the two; and very comfortable to use :)

You'll really just have to try one for yourself before you can understand
Cool. Thank you. :)

I suppose the density of the acrylic would determine how cold it gets in normal ambient room temperature. The wooden ones should be fine for me, though. (They're coated with a couple of layers of lacquer, I presume.)

The wood's are coated with something safe, I forget what exactly but you could PM Kayte and she could answer any question you have.
They look like glass when they are done with them :)

I can tell you that I hate metal DT's and don't think the Acrylic's are quite that cold.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

I'm also not a metal drip tip lover. I'll use them very occasionally, but prefer acrylic, ceramic, and glass. Molehill's tips made out of acrylic are FAR better than the "drugstore" variety of acrylic tips. They are smooth as silk, and they are not cold at all. First touch to the lips and it's an instant......

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

CK, as far as your question about lacquer coating goes, MM's site says:

*All wood tips are sealed (inside and out) with CA, an acrylic finish, to produce a lovely, hard, protective shine. Because wood does not like to be wet, we recommend gently cleaning the surface with a slightly damp q-tip and promptly drying with a soft cloth. Never immerse your wood tip in water.*

The material is acrylic, I believe. I love them, they are warm to my lips immediately, heat up right away. A warm, welcoming tip, each of the four I have so far.

Red Planet - Big honking tip with not only red but gold and greens and purple, hot pink, brown and black with crackle! When you want to make a "statement" on a red or green tank use this! The colors are rich and remind me of the fall colors here in Chattanooga.

Stunningly beautiful Choo..Howdy btw. ;) Dropped in for a quick peek.
