Kayte? :confused:

What are you doing up and on so early? :sneaky:

:D
Dale... I don't know! :blink::laugh:
I have tips to list now though. :D

No tips today:( Didn't really expect them, hopefully they will arrive tomorrow so I can get a family photo this weekend. It seems that during the week I just don't have a lot of extra time....weekends are more for playing with new toys.
Hope they arrive tomorrow! Having to wait through a whole weekend for vape mail is just wrong. (In my world anyway. I'm not good at waiting. lol)

As many of you know I sent my precious pine cone gift tip back to Kayte and Doug for some emergency TLC. Well today I got a wonderful email from Doug and had to share with y'all (I requested his permission to copy and past ahead of time)
Hi Laura,

Well, it was touch & go there for awhile but Ms Pine Cones in Snow is headed home. The first surgery did not go well..... I had to perform my first ever "insert transplant" lol. She will walk with a limp(slightly crooked), as I am not really a Dr., I just play one in the shop :eek:) We can only hope that she will not reject the transplant!
Is that not the best email ever!

    Hi Kayte and fellow MM fans. I pretty much lurk around in here, but I wanted to share my MM drip tip storage project. I was storing my tips in a little felt lined craft box, but I wanted something more like a display, but something that would also protect them. I ordered an acrylic drip tip stand from FT, it was not as sturdy as I'd hoped, but I decided I could use some of the parts to make something myself.

    By some kind of miracle, lol, the round part of the FT stand fit exactly into an old salt, pepper, vinegar, oil caddy I have. I only bought it because I needed one of the triangular shaped shakers it came with to replace one that matched a set of my Grandmother's. Anyway, I ordered another FT stand to get another piece so I could make my stand a double decker.

    After a bit of trial and lots of error, I put this together...

    I had my stand, but I still needed a cover of some sort to protect my much loved MM tips, and to keep the dust off. I saw a cd package being used for storage and found a bigger one that my little stand would fit into. The case itself is not girly/pretty, but I can see my tips and they are safe and sound inside it. I still need to figure out a way to keep my stand from sliding around inside the case, but I was pretty happy that everything fit together. Besides, the tips are what I am looking at all day, not the case, hee hee. This is how it looks all together:

    Sorry this ended up such a super long post, and for the poor quality of my photos, I am photography challenged, what can I say? :)
