Yea, the banners are pretty misleading, lol. You'll be hard pressed to find many people who have actually saved. I guess I'm one of the few. I keep track of the exact amount I've spent on vaping, including hardware and e-liquids.

First month was about $50 more than I'd normally spend on cigarettes. Worth it for me ;)

Next few months shouldn't be nearly as much as I was spending on cigs.

Although I love vaping, I'm not into buying every product on the market, or the next "big" thing. I enjoy my ego twists, and although I'm still working on finding "my" delivery system, the evods and pro tank are working fine for me.

If you're from NY, cigs here are 10 bucks a pack. I smoked 2 PAD and my wife one. Thats $30 a day and carton buying was dam near the same.

Roughly about $26.50 a day BUYING CARTONS.....Thats 800 a month

I think I've averaged about 250 a month vaping.....making my own eliquids and coils allows me to buy lots of mods too. And other vaping accesories. I've saved bundles.

It cost me £7.50 ($11.33) per pack of smokes, £52.50 ($79.31) a week. I've kept well under my weekly smoking costs by vaping, but I do plan on making some bigger purchases soon. As well as thoroughly enjoying vaping and looking after my health in the process, I see those bigger purchases as more like investments which will enable to keep me better off financially in the longer term.

Just add the future medical bills you could be avoiding... I'm always saving money, no matter how much I spend. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

If I included the medical bills the lack of nicotine brought about I'd be deep in the hole. If it wasn't for insurance I'm sure it would be over $20,000 considering the $500-$1000 a month for drugs.
But I figure I already had IBD and trying to get off nicotine just allowed it to show itself to get diagnosed and treated.

I just updated my sig for this week's expenses. I'm keeping ahead.

They need to have a "money spent" on vaping supplies tacked on... some people might find they've spent more than they've saved... just an observation.

Not no but H####LLLL NO!!!
If I used something like that, my WIFE might see it!!! LOL!

Actually, she's worse than I am when it comes to buying vape gear & flavors. "OH that's cool! Get THAT one! I want you to try this one. Honey, I found a new vape site come check it out!"
I'll tell ya, it's ruff having a really supportive spouse. :D

I think of it as this.... Money Saved
10.00 per hour. (I am worth way more than that)
8 hours in a work day
5 days a week
2080 work hours in a year
20,800 dollars a year.

If your life is ONLY worth 10 dollars an hour, a whole avg work year in the US would net you 20,800.
So if your life is worth 20k a year. How many years have you saved by quitting analogs?

I've spent about 1400 in the year of vapeing. & I currently got enough juice to get me through summer easily. I'm about even with my smoking costs, but keep in mind this was my first year I had to experiment/go through a lot of tanks I didn't like, juices I didn't like etc. Next year will be a lot cheaper, even if I decide to pick up a new mod or fancy RBA.

With that said, even this year I don't think vapeing is that expensive, & definitely easy to save money on. I buy a lot of fancy juices, I got a couple mods, I got a couple backup twists. Tons & tons of tanks some unopened still, few pyrex ones, boxes and boxes of coil head replacements. A lot of spare batteries etc etc.

& even though this year I only broke EVEN with my old smoking costs.. I still have a few hundred dollars in change saved up, all I ever usto use my change for was cigars so it was easy to save.

So I am still new to this but I must say, I've saved a lot of money over cigs. I spend about $100 the first month on my g6 and some liquids, then about $50 a month after that. I know the g6 isn't the "best" out there but I love the look and feel of it so I will continue using it. Plus it's helping me stay away from cigs. But all in all, I'd be happy spending more than I did on cigs if it kept me away from it
