Hi Monkey lovers! I did receive my VV box today and have been vaping on it blissfully all evening. I can tell you that this box is flawlessly built, not one imperfection noted yet. I have adjusted the voltage to my desired setting and it remains constant, using 2 AW IMR batteries in it 1640's and they pack a punch. It is beautiful and makes my other 9 box mods look wimpy! The laquer on it on it not only makes it shine eternally, it actually protects it from any spilled juice-no mineral oil needed on this baby-it will shine forever. The VV kit comes with a fancy screwdriver-shiny and flashy itself and it's not hard to adjust at all, and of course a pretty bag to hold it in and 3 6ml bottles and tubing. I will report more later as I become accustomed to this beauty but I can say this-I have been waiting for over 6 months on a mod from Romania I thought was the ultimate mod, I have not been invoiced yet but when I am I will reject that invoice for the Precious. I do not like the initial reviews on it and I will not waste my money on it when I can can buy this Monkey VV box here in the USA. If you are worried about the build quality on it-don't. This Kingwood looks amazing! Tom you are a master craftsman and you can start working on my #3 in Cocobolo when you get through with these next orders in front of me- I will never doubt your ability bro! I'll be reporting back throughout the weekend and update everyone as i gather more impressions from it. My bulldog looks badass also!

Glad to see it worked out for you Col. I really wanted it in stainless or even the old nickel plated brass though and compared to the Provari it's ancient now and higher priced. I'm off that list and sticking with my LV1, perhaps if there's a Precious 3 and updated I'll get on that list again. There are too many variables in play now with them so I'll just wait.

I've been with my monkey for long enough now to give an initial impression, so here goes. I've been vaping 5v for months now (a WetBox, my only other decent PV), so I was a bit stand-offish about going 3.7/6, but to be honest 3.7v vapes much stronger than I remembered and 6v isn't as harsh as I thought it'd be. I'm loving this box very much so far. It's got a black catch cup, which in lower light situations, makes it a little hard to tell when you've got enough juice, but it's not that bad. Both the button and the switch are really nice, the button's got a nice click to it. One of my concerns was the feeding system, which after a small amount of use, appears to be well put together. I don't expect it'll come apart too easily or leak.
Overall, this is my first handcrafted wooden mod, and I love it. Works just like I expected and it makes me all the more eager for the VV model!
