Oh,I need to try that ^ Hadn't thought of it yet,I'm an 801 fan for sure.
I bought these a few months back from Eastmall, tried them on my other mods and they seemed kind of airy but seem to hit perfectly on my Monkey Box.
I've got a Cisco 2.0/306 & a Cisco 2.0/510 just waiting for my Monkey!
I can't seem to get into the 1.5's...just too hot for me.

I love this thing. It performs well. No leaks. Looks freaking fantastic. The hubs is equally impressed. No excess glue here. Two very minor issues are that I would like the back door a few millimeters longer and the battery wants to pop out at the top, but it fires every time. I'll fix that with some bubblegum or somethin, just kiddin, but i might put a bit of something there. Those are very minor nitpicks certainly nothing that would keep me from recommending this mod. I've been using it all evening and I'm very happy to have it. No more losing my bottle and freaking out trying to find my juice!! I just love it.

It's a good thing my Monkey is working well cause my Phidias just died. The PS gave out tonight. It was working intermittently, then it just gave up the ghost.

Not very old, November 2010. Don't let a bad switch keep you away from the Phidias, it's a great box! You'll like it.
It's quite different from the Monkeyboxx....they are definately different vaping experiences.

This is my first box mod, and I love it. How are other box mods a different vaping experience? Arent they all just a pretty case for a battery and juice bottle? Just Curious, thanks.
If there is an Achilles's heel on the Phidias-that would be it. My switch went out after only 2 weeks and I had to send it back to be fixed-it was fixed but it's a hassle to send it out and wait for it's return. Lucky for me I had 5 other Phiddies to keep me company while their brother was fixed.
Electronics stuff can go out fast. I am good at burning up atty's. Always have a back up.

I got my AW batteries yesterday. They work perfectly. In fact I have figured out what was causing so much trouble with the trustfires. It is the battery protection circuitry. It doesn't seem to be able to handle the current draw and cuts off. The reason taking them out of the box and putting them back in works sometimes is that it resets the circuit. Turning it off and back on with the side switch seems to work the same way. Anyways I won't be using the trustfires again or recommending them ever again. I am definitely going to change the order page to reflect that.

I used to make a lot of hardwood pens on a lathe with multiple inlays and segments etc. The wood is so amazing with the complex grains and the fancy patterns/colors. You never have to stain this wood-clear finish only. I found a new way to enjoy my craft by making these boxes with exotic wood. I intend to only take as many orders in a week as I am comfortable able to handle ( I think up to twenty). I love the AW IMR batteries, constant power, safer chemistry. These are meant to provide constant power where the others fail. The flame Trustfires are good for some of my other mods like the Silver Bullet or GLV. If the current draw is this strong in the Monkey Box I think that's a good sign. It should be able to handle any kind of atty with sufficient power at 3.7, a hard hitting mod is excellent IMO. There aren't too many of these-only 2 others come to mind-the Phidias and the Precious. That's excellent company for the Monkey Box, Tom just keeps surprising me!
Well its pretty darn nice now for 105 bucks. The silver strip inside is the factory tinned copper bus wire.
