I was a 13 year smoker at a pack a day or more. I used to have quite a tempter, now that I'm vaping however I notice my temper is much much less. I even LOL at things that normally only got just a smile. Things just don't bother me as much as they used to either.

Personally I think it's because I knew what smoking was doing to me and it was inward anger getting turned outward. Also physically I am feel much better and a healthier body is probably much happier then one constantly trying to fight being poisoned.

Has anybody else had this effect from vaping?

Nicotine releases dopamine in the brain. It's probably able to do its job better, because you're not polluting your blood with the carcinogens from smoking.

To answer your question, yes, I feel more content and easier to smile, also. I still hate people, though. There are a few who have given me reason to NOT dislike them, but the majority, well, I hate em.

For me I think it is because I now have a steady stream of nic, instead of a big rush of nic once an hour. When I smoked analogs, I would go outside once an hour (like clockwork) for my nic fix. So I would get that dopa rush, and then a steady decline of nic until I went outside again. Now with vaping, I just pick up my vapor whenever I want- sometimes I an non-stop vaping, other times I just take a drag every 10 minutes or so. And sometimes when I'm really busy, I just don't bother with it until I feel a need for some nic. Regardless, I'm getting the nic I need/want, when I need/want, and not limiting myself to just that brief 5 minutes once an hour

I couldn't agree more! I used to get antsy and irritable by the end of that hour.

I was the same way. It gets to the time when I am ready for a smoke a client walks in. I smile it them while I think:"You dirty rotten little........", Then spend some times hours with them helping them out(still have to do right by them even if they did drive me nuts). Even now I can't vape in front of them, but I can as soon as they leave. No going to get my coat, no going outside. Just pop off some place and vape vape vape away.

I have had a few irritable days but over all I am happier and just plain feeling good. Of course I felt a lot of self loafing at my addiction to cigarettes. I don't feel addicted to vaping the same. I can put it down for hours or enjoy it for hours. Before I was like others, too long without a smoke break and I felt crabby.
