We have a second approved cessation method over here called 'Zyban', which originated as an anti-depressant. It was found to improve quit rates, so it now qualifies as an anti-smoking aid.
Chantix works by blocking the receptors in the brain that crave nic. Whilst I was willing to try it, I only did it as i'd have tried anything. But it didn't work. So it can't be all that.
Just another expensive, hyped up product for big pharma to profit from.
