MORE drops... Alright!~

I've been using a 3.7V SPADE 510 w/ adapter to JoyE 302 atty for bout a week now.
* I got a 5V Prodigy V2 otw *
I've read just bout everyone states to use 3 to 4 drops if direct dripping. I have yet to really research why exactly that is but...

I got tired of that equation quickly and started trying to test out just how many drops I could squeeze in more, w/o over flooding the atty or having it gurgle.
( I did read that that'll overwork the atty & kill it faster if i'm not mistaken. )

Basicly i'm dripping about 8 drops then puffing away like crazy w/o any of the aforementioned problems.
No flooding. No gurgling atty.~
I might even be able to squeeze some more drops in if I tried but... i'm not trying to kill the thing w/ my newbie-ness.

Furthermore, i'm beginning to think that this is why the 'Auto Drip mod' works so well...
The atty, well atleast the 302, seems to work just fine w/ using plenty more drops than everyone recommends.

I'm curious what others think or know bout this.
For now I'll be sticking to whats been working.~

That 3-4 drop thing is misleading. Drops from different bottles are different sizes. You got it right. 3-4 in one bottle can be 8-9 in another. You just have to find what works.

I tailpipe my 24mg RY4 (Northern Vapour) in the morning for my morning fix (vice hitting the garage) on a 510 "direct" passthru. 2-3 drops is all i need to get 5-6 decent hits. As soon as vap production drops, I drop one more drop on the atty, and put the cartridge on. All my carts have been PTB moded.

I seriously HATE carts. I tried both the blue & the white foam mods. They hold the juice awesome enough but ... I have nightmares to this day do to the the taste & smell of those things....

I opted instead to just buy a 'Needle Tip Oiler' and carry it around w/ my mixed juice inside ready to drip whenever need be.

That's probly the reason I try to force as much juice in as possible.
I don't like to drip every other minute.
I get enough juice in so that its comparable to a full smoke.
I'm taking like 10-15 monster drags.

Furthermore, in the cold winter weather outside, i'm able to get close to double that amount of hits as well.
( Atleast it seems that way but its def significantly more )
The atty just won't overheat & i'm hitting hard as hell cuz I only got so much time left for break while at work.
I get so many hits, I find myself puffing so much longer that I wind up going back inside.
Just to make sure I eventually stop hitting it & to make sure the atty is still living.

I also realize theres gonna be a flip side to that tho.
Spring & then summer is right around the corner. ><
I assume i'll be forced to stay vaping indoors w/ the temperatures the exact opposite...

The PTB (Lipton pyramid tea bag) works awesome, almost identical to dripping. So I'm not sure about your mods or if you done them right (no offense intended), as the blue is suppeosed to beat the PTB almost hands down.

At what mg are you vaping? because at 24mg (morning tailpipe) 6-8 good hits give me a buzz. I decrease to 16-18mgs for the rest of the day. I hit a couple of hits every 10 minutes or so. I roll my own (havent use that one in a while) 75/25 PG to VG, good TH and vapour.

I do the same w/ the increase & decreasing nicotine mg. I like a buzz every now & then also. I use the same exact mg levels as you as well for the same effects.
I use Tasty Vapor Atomic Cinnacide. Roughly a 75/25 PG/VG mix ...i'm guessing cuz its a blend of the 1oz 48mg nicotine + 0mg nicotine 4oz Doubler Geoff sells.

The foams have a stench to em that is hard to remove & it'll blend into your liquid's taste if you don't clean em like crazy. After tasting the foam taste.. I won't ever touch em again...
It was the taste of em that turned me off not how well they hold liquid.
I just prefer to drip cuz I don't like my flavors 'contaminated' is all.

BTW - I didn't finish editing my last post before ya quoted me. I'm hoping i'm making more sense to you now. ><

I just used 10 drops & got exactly 15 long hard lung filled pulls. Just keep in mind what Wireguy said tho please. Cuz I am using a 'Needle Tip Oiler' so the amount of juice I drip will not equal what your doing if not dripping out the same E-Liquid bottles.

15 hits w/o having to drip again.. like a full finished cigarette.
( The last hit had the time to refill taste. lol )
To hell w/ 3-4 drops & half as many hits.

No wonder your hitting so hard. If your recipe is as you state 1oz @ 48mgs mixed with 4oz @omgs results in a mix of 5oz at 12mg. IOT get a 24mg mix, you would have to do the following:

1oz @48mgs with 1oz @0mg doubler for a total of 2oz @24mgs.

I did do the math.

There in 2 separate bottles not mixed together.~

I mix em 1 drop nicotine 2 drops non-nicotine for 16mg,

then 50/50 mixture when I need a boost 24mg.

I also should add: When I do the 24mg mix I only use 2 drops total.
1 drop 48mg nicotine + 1 drop 0 nicotine.
If I was doing 10 drops of 24mg...
well ....I don't wanna find out. lol
