Juul vapes will contribute to a dangerous e-waste crisis

Although, the author of the piece probably has a point. Presumably more juul devices will eventually wind up being discarded in the trash rather than lovingly maintained as a keepsake. Putting some guidelines for proper disposal on or in the packaging, at the least, sounds like a god idea to me.

"Lithium-ion batteries will lose their capacity at some point," Puckett said. "And when it dies, people will likely throw it in the trash, absent an aggressive program to prevent that."
Yeah? So? Unlike some of the older rechargeable batteries (such as Ni-Cd) Li-ion batteries are not categorized as hazardous waste.

Also, don't forget, everyone:
Bolded by me. This is very important. ;)
Right. We should agitate to get all those Evil Corporations to stop selling cellphones, laptops, tablets, digital cameras, and so on. Every one of those devices contains a lithium-ion battery and every one last of them could explode if mishandled!
