 @ the last one where he is on the chair. They are all great, but that one had me rolling. WOW. What is his personality like? I'm sure he's a character. You said he was loveable but I'm sure he has his entertaining moments as do most cats.

Oh my...a challenge. Might take a while!

That first pic...what is he leaning on?

It's an Ott light -- a high power light used when you're doing tedious work, like cross-stiching. In the picture, the light is in the "folded" down position. When you open it, you can lift the light at varying angles.

Moonbeat and Kelly - good captions!

Jennee - yes, he is a character (and he sits on that chair that way quite frequently). Brits are notoriously mischeivous kittens, but are pretty mellow as adults. I didn't have the pleasure of having him as a kitten -- I got him from a breeder in GA when he was 6 years old. He really is just a HUGE purrbox.

He can still act like a kitten if you dangle anything. My brother-in-law was casually twirling some kind of dead plant branch and yelled out like a little girl when Shelton grabbed at his hand with claws out. I no longer let him out on my screened patio as he LOVES catching and playing with the little lizards (I know it's FUN for him, but it makes me gag!).

He won't play much with my dog...and she wants to play so much. Every once in a while, he'll indulge her by letting her chase him down the hallway. Then he stops and looks at her with a look on his face that says, "well, was that enough?"

Occassionally he does have a wild hair and he'll run down the hall. When he hits the wood floor of my dining room, he goes sliding...that never fails to make me laugh!

I'll have to get a pic of him when he's curled up in the bathroom sink...for a big kitty it's amazing how he can get himself into small places.

P.S. Can you tell I adore him?????

Yes! :) But then again he's very adorable.
My Matty and me...we met at the grooming salon where I work. A shelter volunteer brought her in hoping we could get all the mats off of her so they could have a better chance of finding her a home. Of course I agreed to help, but I wouldn't let her pay for it. During the groom I just fell in love with her. This was still during the winter though and I was afraid going back to the shelter with no hair would leave her cold and in danger of getting sick...

So...I took her home to foster her. And it just so happens she never left! I actually just made her adoption official a month ago. :)

She is adorable lol. I used to have a kitty *sigh* she got herself lost when we were moving back from Italy. I don't believe I have any pics of her on this computer though, they're I think they're in the archive on my other computer. Her name was Niamh (nee-ve, again gaelic) and she was a little spitfire. She was a white with grey tortie patches, the pattern was an unusual marbled one though, very pretty.
