And then there's the Provari...I mean, I was happy with it for a pretty long while - it just stung a little when the same thing was selling for like $30. I got one back when it cost almost that much extra to get the LED in green instead of red...lol.
I know that feeling my Provaris are expensive vintage too.

When you say "had", what did you do, sell them on the classifieds?
sold, traded, gifted.... I've sold a bunch on Reddit. I've never been on the classifieds here but I finally sent the stuff in to get verified.

That's very shiny!

Fwiw, £200 in the genuine mech world is "cheap" compared to the likes of a lot of AV gear etc.

I could spend at least 300.00 a month on my cigarette habit and be left with nothing to show for it except bad health. Anything I spend on vaping equipment is nothing compared to what I'm saving, plus better health. :)

That's better :thumb:

I suppose that makes me feel a little better. The best thing I've read was willyzee's $175 used provari so far.

When I think of the juices I've bought, not enjoyed and vaped at £10 a bottle god knows how many bottles I've gone through.

If you don't already, I'd strongly recommend you diy your own juice. It is SOOOOO much cheaper and then you can spend more money on mods guilt free as you are "saving" money elsewhere ;)

It's a beautiful piece. If you're happy with it that was a solid purchase. And you don't have to worry about the electronics breaking down, so you will have this for many years.

The one area I was able to steer clear of were the high end RTAs. By the time I was ready to appreciate them, I had already moved away from the low power mtl vape which the higher end RTA manufacturers tend to favor. Good thing, or I'd be sorta ...... at spending that much and not getting the vape style I now prefer.

Thanks mate. Yeah I make my own but I've still bought loads in the past or special occasions, or I just can't be bothered.
Sometimes I just see something.

Imo, kind juice vanilla is bomb. None of the concentrated taste like that vanilla.
I've even bought gourmet pods, crock pot, steeping, still can't get it like they do. £10 a bottle though.

LOL the hubby was behind every one of my high dollar purchases and he never smoked and doesn't vape. He is just so thankful I quit smoking. When we first heard about the FDA of doom 2 weeks after I started vaping he looked at me and said check with me to make sure I got it covered in the bank but buy what you need to never smoke again.

It was me holding me back expenditure wise more than him because I know money is tight even if he won't say it.

Damn. Was trying to help you justify it in your own mind then :D

If it helps, I have spent over £200 in one month on vape gear. But I did get a lot of stuff for that.

Thanks Eskie. I moved the other way. Started with a nautilus, then subtank, drippers which averaged 80 watts for a year and then found nicer tanks.
Hard on my heart though when I dropped my expensive phenomenon on the concrete day before yest.

Between us guys, I may have shed a tear ;)
A single one mind

I'm pretty sure the most expensive single thing I bought was $100 for a silver IPV 2s? Remember that thing? But that was the day i stopped smoking so forgive me. I'm not interested in luxury products for vaping because I don't want to be noticed vaping and I don't want to come off as a hobby vaper (even though i am). An all black pico with an all black rda in a black silicone sleeve with a low power build and e liquid with 1% flavoring, plus a bit of practiced slight of hand lets me vape where I want when I want and that's what I do. I can go through all the motions so smoothly people can be staring directly at me and not notice I just took a puff. That's more amusing to me than impressing people with bling.

I um have to admit I have my Never Leave the House setups and my road beater setups. LOL

My Woodville will never leave the house. In the car the subvod or the NEBox do just fine :) (well now that I fixed the NEBox leaking)

Think like this... it's not just a mech, it's Art.... I've dropped $1200 on art

The only failed vape item I've bought was an egrip. The reason was leaking. I have a theory that any atomizer system where the air supply is a straight shot to the bottom is going to be prone to leaking because of the capillary effect of that straight path downwards.
